Brian Flynn: After a rough start . We lost electricity on the first night, and it never came back on . I believe her name was Allison, and she was outstanding. She moved us to an updated unit that was amazing. She was so sweet and concerned over our situation that she truly made us feel like we were her only concern even though there were other customers that were having the same problem. Hats off to Allison at the front desk. You are a super star 🌟

Mercedes Pons: We’re for 2 nights. It’s very very well located in old San Juan. Walking distance to restaurants, night life and historical sites.Breakfast is not included, but it’s very good. I loved the latte coffee and Pasia breakfast had some delicious arepas.On the top roof a nice pool with seats to chill out and beautiful views.Uber from airport was around 25$ and I’m really enjoying my time here.Habitaciones: Rooms are very spacious with kitchen, AC, TV. We had a bedroom with king bed. And there was a sofa bed in the living room that we used for my son. Only one bathroom in the bedroom. It worked for us because we’re all family.

A D Williams: We celebrated my husband's birthday with 56 of our family and friends, with over 40 of them staying at SJWB. Everyone was satisfied with the overall experience. Antonio and Fernando were incredibly helpful. At Kumo, we fell in love with our new server, Dulce. GiGi took great care of us on the beach, and Raphael was always a professional, happy to see us, and we him! The beach attendant, Jose, worked really hard to ensure our comfort, and he earned every gratuity. in 12 years, we have been to Puerto Rico 13 times with 11 stays at San Juan Water Beach Club Hotel. We can't wait to come back.

Lisa Quach: Stayed in Room 1111 mid-July. The room had 2 double beds. Bathroom tub could use an upgrade but everything else was clean. The balcony was private and the oceanfront room had an amazing view. Housekeeping came everyday:For elite members, you can go next to the lobby to get water, soda, chips during the day from concierge. You can choose between points or breakfast coupon… the coupon is for the buffet at the restaurant next to the pool area. There is an omelet bar, fruits, meats & cheese, pastries, bacon, sausage, quinoa, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, and some other things… it’s not like an all-inclusive resort breakfast but it was not bad at all. Included mimosas. On Friday night, there was also a cocktail hour event for elite members in the lobby/bar. They provided small items as sliders and desserts. Parking for elite members is also reduced. The valet parking guys are soooo nice!They have a schedule of events such as movie night or s’mores…The staff was wonderful. They gave me a small bottle of wine in a gift bag when I mentioned it was my birthday.The casino bar is open until 3am and Angel is one of the best bartenders ever. Makes a really good Miami Vice too! They will give you $30 “match” coupon… go to service desk and they’ll give you what looks like Monopoly money and you can use with your cash to make a bet… gotta spend money to make money.Location: nearby restaurants… there’s a variety within walking distance… for late night, dulce la vida and the spot next door is open until 4am… there is also a Walgreens and 24hour store next the hotel so you can always buy what you need… including liquor. They stop selling liquor at 2am!There are people on the beach to set up chairs for you. You can order food and they’ll bring it to you. Card or Room charge only. There’s also a guy who sells these pineapple slush things inside a pineapple, it’s $20 with liquor and completely worth it!!!Would only stay here if I came back to PR.

Celebrando 30 años con mi Hermosa Reina, pasamos un tiempo fabuloso, el SVC fue excelente, el acceso a la playa fue increíble con protección de seguridad, lo cual fue bueno ver que tenían todas las comodidades que se publicaron... Solo 1 inconveniente Registro RETRASADO . Pero definitivamente volveremos a visitarlo.

Brandon Cleaver: Outstanding experience. The staff was completely awesome. There were a few minor things that came up. But was well overlooked. I wish I remembered everyone’s name who helped. My only complaint was eating outside for breakfast, was a bad experience especially for the price, but they have a bakery inside which I do recommend. They gave us an oceanfront upgrade. That was very much appreciated. Overall amazing experience. One thing that is undeniable was the housekeeping service was outstanding. Absolute kudos to the housekeeping team. The hotel felt very clean and safe!

In addition to its outstanding cleanliness and maintenance, the staff, including security personnel, are extremely friendly and attentive. 10/10

Hector Rivera: Bueno quiero dejar saber que me preocupa mucho el techo Cuando entras al natatorio a la piscina hay un cristal estirado allí y una Viga como suelta eso es peligrosísimo hay que reparar eso y Segundo los otros días Escuché que un usuario de la piscina el sábado se quedó encerrado él estaba en el baño y se quedó encerrado cuando salió ya habían cerrado la puerta o sea quiere ese decir que el personal No verifica las estructuras antes de salir y eso es peligrosísimo deben de verificar todo el natatorio antes de salir eso no puede pasar eso son las prisas de irse que lo entendemos pero hay que seguir regla Y eso es un trabajo así que los encargados de todo esto los supervisores gerentes tomen carta sobre el asunto porque eso es muy serio espero haber aportado algo para el beneficio de lo que usamos el natatorio

Christine Shoyinka: We had the most wonderful experience! Not only were we in awe of the hotel, pool and beach, the entertainment was also spectacular! Olga Abreu took wonderful care of our room. She was so sweet and kind. Olga did all she could to make us feel comfortable and at home. We were very blessed to have amazing people taking care of us. Mara, another staff member took care of us like family. This was our kids’ first time in Puerto Rico. They will have these wonderful memories forever.

William Stone: The night is almost over and the F&B manager, Fabio, comes over to make sure everything was spectacular. I know all these people because here they make sure you’re treated like family and that anything and everything is done to make your stay amazing!!!

Ambas me trataron super bien y quedé super complacida, ambas son super chulas y amables..Tienen que ir donde ellas si o si, las dejarán bellas con las actividades que realizan… Por otro lado, la estancia en el lugar ha sido muy agradable! La piscina muy relax y el clima ayudó mucho.. La comida super buena y todos muy atentos…

Madeleine San Martin: My husband and I come to Puerto Rico once a year, and we always make sure to book a day pass for a seaside cabana at the Fairmont el San Juan hotel pool. Today, we had Jorge Juan taking care of us at our cabana and the service was absolutely amazing! He made sure we had everything we needed throughout our 6 hour stay. He was super kind and communicative, and he helped to make our day a great one! Thank you Jorge Juan!

itsalljones: This is a great place.. Location was wonderful .. right on the beach.. beautiful views.. Service was as expected.. and the beds were very comfortable.. I had difficulty with the in room coffee pot.. and was a little disappointed that the balcony didn't have room for a chair.. and we parked in a lot across the street . We used some reward points to pay for 3 day stay.. So the minor inconveniences weren't a big deal.. Though, if I had paid the regular price with cash, I might have been a little ticked, lol . Otherwise, it's a great place and you won't be disappointed.Seguridad: Was concerned about parking across street, but had no issues.. and didn't feel at all uncomfortablePosibilidad de caminar: Really in the middle of everything.. you can easily walk down the beach, and back up the streets.. Great area, friendly.. plenty of places to eat and shop

J Roland: This hotel is great for a girls trip, a romantic getaway, or even for a family trip. The hotel is situated close to several convenience, stores and chain restaurants. The pool is large and has several shaded areas and the beach offers, complementary chair and umbrellas for guest as they arrive. The food at the bar and at the on-site restaurant may not be the best you’ll get in San Juan, but it’ll do the job before you head out to get some of the local fare!

Katherine VM: I stayed at the Royal Sonesta, San Juan in late July of 2024. It was the best hotel experience I had in Puerto Rico. The room was spectacular, clean, comfortable, and an amazing view. They thought of everything. From the beach to the parking, everyone was super helpful, friendly and accommodating. The pictures don’t do it justice. You can stay on the premises and have a great vacation but it is such a beautiful island 🏝️ you have to venture out. The area is lively, plenty of attractions nearby and the airport is close so no worries there. I give it a 10/10,. would do it again. and again.Habitaciones: The rooms have city or ocean view. They are roomy, and have a refrigerator in them. The showers have rainfall shower and the decor is up to date. The beds are comfortable and it seems quiet, I didn’t hear my neighbors at all. The decor is modern and up date. It is a luxurious place.Actividades cerca de mi ubicación: Fajardo is where you can take a ferry to the nearby islands such as Culebra and Vieques. Definitely worth booking in advance. It’s an amazing experience. Also check Indian caves, all these activities are doable on your own but better with a guide.Seguridad: I saw police patrolling the area regularly, there is a presence. I felt safe walking and driving around.Posibilidad de caminar: Walking distance to some great authentic restaurants and bars, pharmacies and souvenir shops.

The hotel staff were so helpful and kind.I highly recommend staying at this hotel.Please give Greg & Paola a raise! They were both pinnacle examples of what customer service should be. The housekeeping staff was also very friendly and did an amazing job.

William Sanchez (Wimaya): I recently stayed at a wonderful suite that provided an excellent experience. The room offered great privacy and was impeccably clean. The fresh and pleasant scent of the room was immediately noticeable upon entering. The suite was well-equipped with all necessary amenities and had a studio-like design, perfect for a relaxing stay. It was incredibly cozy, with a comfortable air conditioner that worked perfectly. The floors and overall decor were impressive, adding to the charm of the room.However, there was a minor inconvenience with the room. A small light on the fire alarm flashed intermittently, which could be slightly bothersome when trying to sleep. Despite this, it was a minor issue in an otherwise delightful room.The stay included breakfast, which, although not served piping hot, was warm and tasted good. The secure parking was another highlight, as I often worry about parking lots, but this one exceeded my expectations with its safety and convenience.One downside was the hotel's elevator situation. With only one working elevator and a maximum capacity of four people, there was often a wait time of five to ten minutes to get to and from the room. This was a bit frustrating but manageable.The rooftop restaurant was another point of interest. It boasted a beautiful setting and luxurious ambiance, making it very popular and requiring reservations. The menu was on the expensive side, with the cheapest dish priced between $30 to $40, so be prepared to spend a bit more. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to dine there due to the need for prior reservations, but it looked amazing.Despite these minor issues, my overall experience was fantastic. The nights were quiet, the bed was wonderfully soft, and I definitely plan to return. This suite offers a blend of comfort, cleanliness, and convenience that makes it a top choice for a relaxing getaway.

Brie W: First and foremost, the staff were amazing. Specifically, Paola and Edgardo. At the front desk. The room is basically an apartment. It was spacious and clean. The hotel is close to a beach and food and nightlife.Now for the truth. The breakfast that is included is ok. Not anything to brag about. They deliver it to you so its a nice breakfast in bed.The infinity pool is small and really only big enough to put your feet in. So if you are looking for more, I would look at other options.The staff at the rooftop bar were all wonderful. Special shout to Sunny and the GM Miguel.Will for sure come back.
