K. Young: My family and I had a wonderful 5-night stay at this Hilton location in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the end of July through early August! It’s beautifully decorated with an open air design. The restaurants, bars, beach, outdoor pool, and our room accommodations were just fabulous. All staff we encountered were professional and courteous. Caribe Hilton San Juan for the win!!Habitaciones: Spacious and nicely appointed. All the basics that you would expect were provided.Seguridad: We encountered no safety issues on the property or as we walked around the surrounding city.Posibilidad de caminar: Not too many tourists attractions within walking distance, but it was not too expensive to Uber to the places we wanted to go.Comidas y bebidas: Love that we were given a $50 credit to use at the bars and restaurants at the hotel each day of our stay.

Joyce: The location of the Condado Plaza is excellent! Check-in was super easy, and the gentleman at the front desk did an awesome job of explaining all of the hotel amenities. We had a room with an ocean view and king-size bed. The room was very clean. All of the staff that we encountered were extremely friendly and ready to assist if needed. We used the hotel taxi service to go to Walmart. The driver was super nice because he waited for us to finish. This hotel has two pools. The large pool has a slide, and the saltwater pool is located by the jacuzzi. While sitting poolside enjoying a pina colada, a huge iguana came out of the bushes and just walked around like it owned the place. It didn't bother anyone, and nobody bothered it. I thought that was pretty cool. I rated the hotel 4 stars because there were a couple of things that I noticed. The Condado is one of the older hotels and could use a little TLC. When we walked around the grounds to explore, we noticed chipping paint, rust, and erosion in several areas. One evening, while admiring the view from the balcony, I saw a rat run into the bushes by the back stairwell deck. The next evening, my friend saw a rat by the stairwell near the pool. That was a little unnerving. Other than that, we had a really good stay at this hotel.Habitaciones: I stayed in a room with an ocean view and king-size bed, which was very comfortable. The bathroom was very large with a shower/tub combination, and the room was very clean.Actividades cerca de mi ubicación: There is a night kayaking spot within walking distance of the hotel. We had a blast and even saw a manatee while out on the water.Seguridad: We did a lot of walking while we were there. Both during the day and in the evening. We felt very safe.Posibilidad de caminar: There are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.Comidas y bebidas: The Aqua Bar and Grill is located by the pool. I ordered wings, quesadillas, and pina coladas. My friend ordered drinks from the hotel lobby bar. We were pleased with everything. The Condado also has a footbridge that connects with the Hilton Garden Inn, where there are two additional restaurants that are available for dining.

From the moment we arrived, William Cruz, the bellman, welcomed us with the most radiant smile, making the lobby shine even brighter. His graciousness set the tone for our entire stay.At the coffee shop, Abigail and Nelson went above and beyond to ensure our mornings were delightful with their exceptional service. It’s rare to see such genuine dedication.Salvador Colon, the front desk manager, was incredibly accommodating. He even lowered the lobby music so I could play my handpan, which added a unique and personal touch to our visit.Nestor Colon deserves a special mention for making our trip truly memorable. He expertly navigated our itinerary, personalizing our experiences and ensuring we saw the best places tailored just for us.Additionally, Samuel Aponte and his security team were outstanding. Even when they had to close the beach gate, they were exceptionally helpful, guiding us safely to an alternate route to the beach and ensuring we still enjoyed our time.The entire staff at the Royal Sonesta San Juan are not just employees; they are warm, gracious, and servant-minded individuals who made our stay feel like home. This has been the best experience I've ever had at a high-class hotel, and I cannot recommend them enough.

Tiffani Brown: My parents and I had an excellent dinner at Cana restaurant. The best meal of our 5 day vacation in Puerto Rico! Felix was our server and made us feel like family. He provided such warm service and made great meal suggestions. We had a relaxed dinner by the beach and stayed until closing. Never felt rushed and will be back for breakfast!

Olivia Johnson: 10/10 experience at Dorado Ritz-Reserve. My husband and I took our honeymoon at this resort and it was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. They upgraded us to a west side suite and it was everything. The rooms are amazing, with an outdoor shower which was my favorite part. The property is HUGE! Make sure you go on the tour and rent some bikes as well. It was a tropical paradise. Every single staff member we encountered was truly remarkable. Our ambassadors Trent and Chen made our honeymoon so amazing. Every restaurant was phenomenal, especially Positivo. We ate there twice! I really want to recognize the hard working, passionate, professional employees we had the pleasure of meeting over the 4 days we were there. I apologize in advance for those I forgot to mention. These people were the best part of Dorado Ritz-Reserve. I could go on and on, but I’m sure you get the point now! Nicky Quillinan: I can not say enough nice things about this place… top notch service all around. The staff is super friendly and always compliments you and tells you to enjoy the day. The beach crew are THE BEST always there to set up chairs and umbrellas you. The beach was so hot they brought around ice pops and ice cold minty washcloths to cool off with. I’ve never experienced this in my life. There are also so many activities by the pool for all ages. I was here last year for 3 nights and this time 5 nights. The only bad thing I will say is there is A LOT of renovations going on right now. They are improving for the future but it was a little noise and a few inconveniences.I will def be back in the future!! Thanks all around for a great 5 nights.

Luis Vila: 5 de febrero de 2014fui a la tienda para verificar una cafetera que compre en la tienda en enero y rápidamente el gerente de la tienda me ayudo a buscar el problema de que se trataba luego como era defecto de manufacturero tenia que enviárselo a ellos pero en la tienda me dieron una nueva para no tener que esperar tanto. We also booked a bioluminescent bay experience through the resort, and that was really cool.Seguridad: I felt totally safe here. The resort is pretty isolated. There's a long road you go down off the highway before you get to the resort, and there are two sets of gates for cars on that road.Also, we are a gay couple and felt safe at the resort. There were a few other guests that gave us stares, but the staff and the people of Puerto Rico were great, and there were no awkward comments or confrontations with the other guests. I think you're going to get those people anywhere you go, and if you're gay, you're probably used to it.Posibilidad de caminar: Very walkable. The main pool, lobby, restaurants, and bars are all centrally located. There are tons of foot paths/sidewalks going through the grounds, and there are a lot of employees driving around on golf carts to give you a ride if you want one.Comidas y bebidas: The food and drinks were all good to great. It'd be nice to have another walk-in restaurant available each day, but there are good options on site. Tons of great food a short drive away, too, if you head towards San Juan or El Yunque.
