I've taken surf lessons in a lot of different countries and I found my Spectrum instructor, Marcian, to be top notch compared to others I've surfed with. He really paid attention, helped me improve and was very positive. Spectrum made it easy to set up the lesson over text msg and picked out the right surf spot and board for my ability on the first try. I love that the lessons are 1:1 and they move spots based on conditions and your ability. Would definitely recommend.

Spent three days at a Hyatt resort and four days at Es La Verde and frankly I was bored out of my mind on day three until I found Pine Grove Surf Club. He has Hobie Cats too which I will rent tomorrow before we jump on a flight home. Definitely check it out if your staying near Carolina PR!!

    4worldlovers: Specialized Coaching has been created for the more experienced surfer who wants to take their surfing to the next level. It consists of in-depth critical analysis and video breakdown of the surfer’s weak points in order to optimize their technique. We focus on the key elements of Balance and Form in order be more efficient in the water.

    Our private sessions are 1 hour and 30 minutes long. With all our first-time students, our instructors will begin by going through safety regulations, ocean awareness (currents/ waves descriptions) and the specific parts of the surfboard. We begin the lesson with several one on one exercises specializing on balance and form to get your body and mind ready to enjoy your surfing experience. Then, you will be ready to hit the water and enjoy the beauty of surfing. This is a great option for kids and adults who are looking for a more personalized experience as they begin to learn about the sport.

    Our Summer Surf Program goes from 9am up until 2pm and is available during the months of June and July. We focus on fitness, discipline and most importantly surfing. Our goal is to take kid’s surfing to their maximum potential, without losing the fun factor. Aside from surfing, we complement our training with other activities such as yoga, beach tennis and soccer.

    Our After School Surfing Clinics are 1 hour and 30 minutes long. We started this program specifically for younger surfers that are still learning the fundamentals of surfing. Considering their busy school schedules, our sessions are given as an after-school program from 4pm -5:30pm.

After the lesson, he kindly offered to drop me back off where I was staying. He was a fun, professional, and attentive instructor who I would highly recommend.

    Julia St. Germain: Great lesson! Had only tried surfing once before and was able to get up and have plenty of waves throughout the day! Sebastian helped me with the basics for 10 mins or so then we hit the water. He was so helpful with coaching and prepping me for the waves. The 1 hour goes quick but I’m so glad I did it! Ended up meeting at Pine Grove beach where waves were 1-2 feet max? Perfect for a beginner. I would definitely do this again on my next trip!

The instructors were excellent teachers: they started by explaining how to surf, then did drills on land to practice, then took us out and we took turns surfing, with them giving us one on one instruction and help. Absolutely would recommend.

    Julia Landron: We booked Jet skis and a beginners surf lesson and it was an AMAZING EXPERIENCE! The crew were very respectful and fun! Justin accommodated my brother who walked in last minute without reservation and we had a blast! They let us freestyle and we got right in front of El Morro.It was my first time surfing and Justin made it so easy for me, I truly enjoyed myself regardless how many times I fell! I fished around for the best price with a fair amount of time and this was it. Definitely would come back.

    Justin Medina: Newest jet skis in the island, and we could cover a lot of ground, compared to other rentals where they only letted me ride in a small area bu the beach. Here we could go to different places, go fast and take pictures of epic places like the castle in Old San Juan. Highly recommend, also location is prime, they provide storage, bathrooms and free parking
