More of a fixed price menu than a tasting menu, as you got the option to select a starter, appetizer, entree and dessert of your choice, and they also provided a second appetizer of a white bean truffle soup. Wine pairings were offered. We found their wine list to be excellent and selected a bottle of Gigondas plus a glass of Sauvignon Blanc to start. The food was excellent from start to finish with a beautiful presentation for each dish. Servers were attentive and polished.We enjoyed our experience tremendously and would return to San Juan just to eat here!Definitely worth a visit if you’ve got time in Old San Juan.

Es restaurante bar, puede ser que haya una pequeña fila para entrar, y te anotan en una lista, pero lo vale, puedes entrar solo a bar, o a restaurante, la piña colada sĂ­, si estĂĄ deliciosa y de buen tamaño, no es frozen, cuesta 10 USD. Y puedes pagar aparte 5 USD por la copa conmemorativa. No probamos la comida, pero se veĂ­a bastante buena, con porciones grandes y los precios muy similares a los restaurantes de Viejo San Juan.

It's a perfectly acceptable restaurant with nothing to complain about, but nothing to write home about. We got a mofongo special with shrimp chicken and skirt steak which was good. Service was good. I don't think you'd be disappointed coming here realizing it's not trying to be the best spot in town

We wanted to have a taste for Puerto Rican cuisine and were more than impressed with Cafe Manolin. Located in a little side street but pretty easy to find you will immediately feel immersed with the locals in that great cafe/lunch spot. I went for the pina colada which was delicious because not too sweet and then we had the typical dish with snapper, rice, beans and plantains. As soon as we saw the rice and fish we knew it was gonna be great. Pro tip mix the beans with the rice as our server told us and it was so good. 16 dollars for a plate like that with a great piece of fish that was super fresh. Service was also top notch so will definitely be back. Thanks team

The breakfast sandwiches are cheap and simple. With such a simple menu you will find something even for the pickiest eater and the ingredients so fresh that no one will be able to complain. The bread being the highlight. The bread has a buttery crunch crust with a pillow soft inside.Dont go looking for a reason to dress up though, the chill food reflects the atmosphere. A nice start to or a break in the middle of a very hot sight seeing day. Be careful though, the breakfast is only served until 10:45. Though the lunch is just as GOOD, it is a bit more expensive.

    Nimet Aytekin: Lovely place in the heart of old San Juan. The food was delicious but they were missing a couple of ingredients from the menu. The service was a bit slow and the server was not very fluent in the menu options. But the atmosphere was friendly. The owner came and talked to us later and gave us suggestions for places to see. He then offered us his umbrella in pouring rain and we took it. He said we could we keep it. Very nice guy!! The toilets definitely need better maintenance though.

Nos sorprendieron con el postre y una postal con nuestra foto para recordar momento.Los precios son altos, pero la calidad, servicio y ambiente los valen.Tiene valet parking del hotel. El Rest aporta el 50% del costo del valet.

    Private: Morton's Steakhouse fue una experiencia fenomenal. A pesar de no tener reservas, la anfitriona pudo atenderme råpidamente. Pedí el Prime Ribeye y el pedido salió perfectamente preparado. El bistec estaba increíblemente jugoso y la combinación de condimentos era increíblemente sabrosa. También pedí espinacas a la crema y patatas al horno cargadas. La crema de espinacas estaba buena, pero no era nada del otro mundo. La papa al horno era enorme y los aderezos la hacían muy sabrosa. El pan de cortesía era enorme y combinaba muy bien con la mantequilla. Paola brindó un excelente servicio y fue muy atenta. Hubo una disputa con respecto a mi descuento corporativo, que aparentemente se aplicaba a todos los demås lugares de la propiedad, excepto al Steakhouse. Si bien esto no es un problema de restaurante, el gerente tuvo la amabilidad de ofrecer un postre de cortesía para la confusión. En general, ¥tuve una gran experiencia! Tenga en cuenta también que existe un código de vestimenta informal de negocios. Afortunadamente ya estaba cumpliendo, pero no lo sabía de antemano.

    Antoine Prioleau: This place gets a 5 star review across the board. Me and my family of 3 went to this restaurant located in old San Juan. After I tour through the area, we came upon this place because my daughter been asking for tacos the whole trip haha. When we arrived the host/waiter sat us down and accommodated us because we had a small stroller for my son. We started off with appetizers such has elote corn, fondue, and cassava fries. As for drinks me and my wife had passion fruit margaritas. Once I knew the appetizers and drinks were great, I knew the entree would be as well. My daughter order pork belly tacos, I had chicken tacos and my wife had fish tacos. The seasoning on all 3 tacos was delicious. We sat ate and converse for about 2 hours. I recommend this place if you are in old San Juan area. Thank you La Madre.

I had the pork belly tacos, while people in our party had the duck quesadillas. All of it was good.Since the restaurant was full we sat in the alley which in itself was a vibe.Don’t think about it, head to this place if you want something else besides PR food.

Our bartender was fantastic, artfully whipping up drinks and taking orders and cleaning at the same time, but still happy to explain everything to us. You could tell the employees were proud of the restaurant; they were explaining how many of the items were house-made and even who made them that day, it was refreshing to see such an obvious love of their restaurant. Now we love it too!

    Kristin Eoff: Reservamos un lugar para cenar a las 7:00 pero no lo necesitĂĄbamos porque Ă©ramos los primeros en llegar. Las gambas al ajillo estaban deliciosas, el camarero era muy amable, entusiasta y atento, y la zona de asientos de la azotea era mĂĄgica, con luces de colores y un lagarto anolis marrĂłn en la barandilla. La comida era cara pero muy buena.

    Lily Garcia: Went last Wednesday, and absolutely loved everything, as per usual. Been here a few times and EVERY SINGLE TIME it has been as amazing as the last. Love the consistency of the food, the excellent customer service. Killa was our server this and she made us all of the best recommendations, she was very knowledgeable and super pleasant. Absolutely everyone from the host, to the bartender, to the valet parking are super friendly, polite and attentive, love this place.
