Colleen Specht: WOW, this didn’t disappoint! More of a fixed price menu than a tasting menu, as you got the option to select a starter, appetizer, entree and dessert of your choice, and they also provided a second appetizer of a white bean truffle soup. Wine pairings were offered. We found their wine list to be excellent and selected a bottle of Gigondas plus a glass of Sauvignon Blanc to start. The food was excellent from start to finish with a beautiful presentation for each dish. Servers were attentive and polished.We enjoyed our experience tremendously and would return to San Juan just to eat here!Definitely worth a visit if you’ve got time in Old San Juan.

Ale MP: Según la información que investigamos, es uno de los lugares dónde se creó la Piña Colada 🍍🥥, entonces tienes que ir. Es restaurante bar, puede ser que haya una pequeña fila para entrar, y te anotan en una lista, pero lo vale, puedes entrar solo a bar, o a restaurante, la piña colada sí, si está deliciosa y de buen tamaño, no es frozen, cuesta 10 USD. Y puedes pagar aparte 5 USD por la copa conmemorativa. No probamos la comida, pero se veía bastante buena, con porciones grandes y los precios muy similares a los restaurantes de Viejo San Juan.

Harrison Logan: We were in old san juan for the day and looking for a lunch place and found this spot online. It's a perfectly acceptable restaurant with nothing to complain about, but nothing to write home about. We got a mofongo special with shrimp chicken and skirt steak which was good. Service was good. I don't think you'd be disappointed coming here realizing it's not trying to be the best spot in town

Nos sentamos en la barra con un gran servicio, muy buena explicación de los platillos y varias opciones de cocina local, o clásicos cómo hamburguesas. Precios acorde a San Juan, similares a los demás restaurantes. Pedí camarones a la criolla, me gustaron pero no me fascinaron, esperaba más sabor, y la porción era un poco pequeña, comparado con la ensalada y papas fritas. Probé el Mofongo con camarones de mi amigo y estaba muy bueno y creo que mejor servido. Si buscas un lugar muy callado para comer, no es este, hay música de fondo y se concentra mucho el ruido de las pláticas. Muy buena ubicación. Si regreso.
Bertrand Huybrechts: Look no further for an authentic Puerto Rican lunch at honest prices and great service. We wanted to have a taste for Puerto Rican cuisine and were more than impressed with Cafe Manolin. Located in a little side street but pretty easy to find you will immediately feel immersed with the locals in that great cafe/lunch spot. I went for the pina colada which was delicious because not too sweet and then we had the typical dish with snapper, rice, beans and plantains. As soon as we saw the rice and fish we knew it was gonna be great. Pro tip mix the beans with the rice as our server told us and it was so good. 16 dollars for a plate like that with a great piece of fish that was super fresh. Service was also top notch so will definitely be back. Thanks team

Alisa Roman: A place where the locals are many and the tourist very few. A have to stop whenever we make it to the coast.I would very much recommend breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches are cheap and simple. With such a simple menu you will find something even for the pickiest eater and the ingredients so fresh that no one will be able to complain. The bread being the highlight. The bread has a buttery crunch crust with a pillow soft inside.Dont go looking for a reason to dress up though, the chill food reflects the atmosphere. A nice start to or a break in the middle of a very hot sight seeing day. Be careful though, the breakfast is only served until 10:45. Though the lunch is just as GOOD, it is a bit more expensive.

We had the wine pairing along with both the vegetarian and the omnivorous option. There were four food acts and a dessert act, each and every single one very special and well thought. The food was very simple but layered with so many textures at times. The restaurant is located in a beautiful area and has a very cozy and friendly environment. En el menú hay desde desayuno, comidas o lunch, y café, hasta una amplia variedad de cócteles, incluyendo una cerveza de chocolate💗. El servicio excelente, precios competitivos y razonables, los meseros y bartender atentos, amables y dan buenas sugerencias, la comida muy rica, probé desayuno, y 2 días después regresé por el lunch 😋. It was a great suggestion! Very good all together but whatever they use to season the beef is amazing. Delicious and will be trying to make a copycat recipe for at home. Nimet Aytekin: Lovely place in the heart of old San Juan. The food was delicious but they were missing a couple of ingredients from the menu. The service was a bit slow and the server was not very fluent in the menu options. But the atmosphere was friendly. The owner came and talked to us later and gave us suggestions for places to see. He then offered us his umbrella in pouring rain and we took it. He said we could we keep it. Very nice guy!! The toilets definitely need better maintenance though.

Comí pechuga de pollo con salsa de crema y verduras. La comida era deliciosa y las porciones eran grandes. Sólo había dos mujeres trabajando en el comedor. Hicieron un gran trabajo turnándose en las mesas, preparando cócteles y controlando a todos.Ninguna queja en absoluto.

Katherine Calanni: 10/10! ¡Este lugar es tan bueno! No teníamos reservas pero nos acomodaron, lo cual agradecemos. Todos fueron muy, muy amables, especialmente nuestra camarera Iria. La comida era increíble y las porciones eran enormes. Tenemos los ñoquis con salsa de crema y la boloñesa, ambos estaban deliciosos. Definitivamente lo recomiendo si anhelas un buen italiano mientras estés en SJU.

J A Falgas: Fuimos por primera. Celebramos nuestro aniversario de Boda. La administración nos sorprendió con el menú dedicado a nuestro aniversario. Fuimos atendió por Antonio de forma excepcional. Explica muy bien el menú y su recomendación. El New York y rbye sabrosos. Papas caramelizada sabrosa. Nos sorprendieron con el postre y una postal con nuestra foto para recordar momento.Los precios son altos, pero la calidad, servicio y ambiente los valen.Tiene valet parking del hotel. El Rest aporta el 50% del costo del valet.
Glory Serrano: Fuimos a celebrar nuestro aniversario de bodas. La experiencia fue increíble. El meñu decía feliz aniversario con el nombre de nosotro. Nos obsequiaron una foto y un postre. Private: Morton's Steakhouse fue una experiencia fenomenal. A pesar de no tener reservas, la anfitriona pudo atenderme rápidamente. Pedí el Prime Ribeye y el pedido salió perfectamente preparado. El bistec estaba increíblemente jugoso y la combinación de condimentos era increíblemente sabrosa. También pedí espinacas a la crema y patatas al horno cargadas. La crema de espinacas estaba buena, pero no era nada del otro mundo. La papa al horno era enorme y los aderezos la hacían muy sabrosa. El pan de cortesía era enorme y combinaba muy bien con la mantequilla. Paola brindó un excelente servicio y fue muy atenta. Hubo una disputa con respecto a mi descuento corporativo, que aparentemente se aplicaba a todos los demás lugares de la propiedad, excepto al Steakhouse. Si bien esto no es un problema de restaurante, el gerente tuvo la amabilidad de ofrecer un postre de cortesía para la confusión. En general, ¡tuve una gran experiencia! Tenga en cuenta también que existe un código de vestimenta informal de negocios. Afortunadamente ya estaba cumpliendo, pero no lo sabía de antemano.

Antoine Prioleau: This place gets a 5 star review across the board. Me and my family of 3 went to this restaurant located in old San Juan. After I tour through the area, we came upon this place because my daughter been asking for tacos the whole trip haha. When we arrived the host/waiter sat us down and accommodated us because we had a small stroller for my son. We started off with appetizers such has elote corn, fondue, and cassava fries. As for drinks me and my wife had passion fruit margaritas. Once I knew the appetizers and drinks were great, I knew the entree would be as well. My daughter order pork belly tacos, I had chicken tacos and my wife had fish tacos. The seasoning on all 3 tacos was delicious. We sat ate and converse for about 2 hours. I recommend this place if you are in old San Juan area. Thank you La Madre.
Steven Kanavalli: Was in the mood for some Mexican food while staying in Old San Juan PR 🇵🇷. Read some reviews about this place so decided to give it a shot.I was not disappointed.The food is delicious and very authentic. I had the pork belly tacos, while people in our party had the duck quesadillas. All of it was good.Since the restaurant was full we sat in the alley which in itself was a vibe.Don’t think about it, head to this place if you want something else besides PR food.
Spencer C Dorhout: All-around excellence. The fish tacos were the best I’ve had in my entire life, no question about it. Our bartender was fantastic, artfully whipping up drinks and taking orders and cleaning at the same time, but still happy to explain everything to us. You could tell the employees were proud of the restaurant; they were explaining how many of the items were house-made and even who made them that day, it was refreshing to see such an obvious love of their restaurant. Now we love it too!

Kristin Eoff: Reservamos un lugar para cenar a las 7:00 pero no lo necesitábamos porque éramos los primeros en llegar. Las gambas al ajillo estaban deliciosas, el camarero era muy amable, entusiasta y atento, y la zona de asientos de la azotea era mágica, con luces de colores y un lagarto anolis marrón en la barandilla. La comida era cara pero muy buena.

Lily Garcia: Went last Wednesday, and absolutely loved everything, as per usual. Been here a few times and EVERY SINGLE TIME it has been as amazing as the last. Love the consistency of the food, the excellent customer service. Killa was our server this and she made us all of the best recommendations, she was very knowledgeable and super pleasant. Absolutely everyone from the host, to the bartender, to the valet parking are super friendly, polite and attentive, love this place.
