Jasmin Clements: Doing the ATV in el Yunque was amazing! Shout out to the ATV tour guide Hendricks! He was very nice, pleasant and got us through the forest safely. I give this experience 5 stars!
Joey Jimenez: awesome

Darvin Torres: hermoso parque
felipe ramirez: Reminds me to Peñiscola, Spain.

Dave Payne: Beautiful Fort Worth stopping at to see the Spanish construction.
Harrison Logan: El Morro was a fantastic visit. The informational boards around the fort did a great job of telling the history starting with the Spanish through the Spanish American war and into the current day. Because this is such an old site, it does not have the modern conveniences that buildings have today like elevators and normal size stairs and inclines, so be prepared for that. It also is all outside, so be prepared for hot and/or rainy weather. The sights from the fort are beautiful, giving a great vantage point to see the san juan harbor and old san juan. Totally worth a visit!

elle a: I was in San Juan for just a couple of days and unfortunately the museums were closed while I was there. However, I read so many good things about this museum that I decided to make a quick trip there before catching my flight. I'm so glad I did and wished I had more time as I had to rush through the last two rooms. There are renovations going on so apparently it is scaled down compared to what it normally is like, but the work that they have on display as well as the design of the curated works is very high quality. The staff were also very kind and the entrance fee is so cheap!I stopped at the gift shop on my way out and bought several things, one being their museum catalog. I would highly encourage tourists to visit the gift shop if they are looking for souvenirs that are different and more meaningful than what you find in OSJ.

Kai Yim: If you're looking for a tour that goes beyond the ordinary and dives headfirst into a whirlwind of hilarity, authenticity, and pure Puerto Rican magic, Jerry and Jerry’s Adventures is an absolute must! From the moment I met Jerry, I realized this wasn’t the run-of-the-mill tour experience. This was going to be an all-out, off-the-beaten-path extravaganza that promises a day full of laughter, awe, and discovery.Jerry, with his charismatic personality and deep-rooted local knowledge, is more than just a guide—he’s a living, breathing encyclopedia of Puerto Rican culture, history, and hidden gems. His storytelling is so vivid and engaging, it feels like you’re living through the adventures he recounts. Whether he’s weaving tales of the local community or cracking jokes, Jerry’s humor, patience and stabilizing nature make the journey as entertaining as it is educational. The tour itself was a refreshing departure from the usual tourist traps!! Forget crowded attractions and cookie-cutter experiences— Jerry takes you to local spots that only a true local would know. From lush, uncharted trails to secluded, a breathtaking vista and waterfall, and the most delicious meal I had on my trip yet!Jerry - thank you for the genuine connection, your infectious enthusiasm, and the memorable adventure!
Alex Makino: The tour was amazing. Jerry was great. He was very knowledgeable and made the tour tons of fun. I highly recommend.
ebony cooke: This was the best tour!!! Jerry was very knowledgeable and the nicest person ever! You will not regret this your!
Jessika D: Mr. Jerry himself took our group on the Agritour. He was so fun and was able to keep up with our crazy group! He showed us a variety of plants and crops, explaining how they came to the island. Then at our lunch stop, Jerry gave us enough delicious food to feed an army!
Nick Martin: Jerry was an amazing tour guide! Trail and waterfall was incredible
Branden lopez: Truly a one of a kind experience. The guides were there to make sure our experience was top priority. Very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. This adventure was unique because we weren't surrounded by hundreds of other tourists. The adventure was experienced by just our group. Would recommend for anyone looking to experience the true puerto rico and all it has to offer
Flora Gonzalez-Knox: Manuel was amazing! He was so kind and patient with all of us including my 4 yr old and 20 month old grandkids. We all had a great time and Manuel kept us amused and entertained the entire time, especially with his impromptu word games! The restaurant he took us to was great and we all loved the food! I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in learning the history of Puerto Rico while enjoying the sites. Thanks again for the gift of a perfect day!
Glennis Desbien: We loved our tour with Jerry into the mountainous area of Puerto Rico. This tour is an opportunity to view some scenery away from the city, as well as taste some indigenous food. Jerry is a great guide with expert knowledge of many aspects of the Puerto Rican culture, and he is a genuinely nice person who is considerate of his guests and eager to respond to their questions.
Joyce Braswell: of us on the tour and it was totally sensational!!! Jerry was very knowledgeable of the area and was an excellent tour guide! He was extremely polite, always offering to assist each passenger from the van at every stop! Excellent tour for every age group… from the very young to those suffering plausible impairments Jerry’s Tours are absolutely the BEST‼️😎
Almanda Studinger: ¡¡Todo estuvo genial!!

Shelly Cash: My grandson and I had a great time fishing Tarpon with Captain Clery. We talked about all sorts of things and had great conversation while it was quiet. He really knows how to work the water to find the fish. My grandson had 6 or 7 on the line; and got 3 nice size fish in the boat. Then the big one strikes- nothing like seeing an 80-90 pounder jump out of the water to shake a hook. It is a fish story that will last forever. It really was that big!
Rob Dowd: Up at 535a to drive back to San Jose for 7a departure for backwater tarpon fishing with Captain Clery. Great flats boat and he had us off in minutes winding through the mangroves and into tarpon fishing grounds.First tarpon in the boat by 7:32 with plenty more action to follow. We brought in a few smaller guys, let a few get off the hook when they took to the air and finished strong with a 30 plus and 40 plus pounder. And we beat the hurricane weather! We were the only boat out all day. Captain Clery knows these waters like it’s his backyard because it is. He kept us busy throughout our entire time. Tarpon have been on our fish wish list for a few years and the I trip beat our expectations. We hope to do it again in a few days.
C B: Absolute blast of a trip with Captain Miguel. We came to target tarpon and we did just that. My boys caught 5-6 that were all good sized and acrobatic in the water and got mine right at 90lbs. It was an incredible fight and experience. Would not hesitate to recommend this charter company to anyone.
Jordan Meikle: Miguel, was an awesome guide he took 4 of us out and it was a slow start but went to multiple spots and landed a nice tarpon to end the day. Highly recommend to any fly fisherman
Lindsey Ingram: Captain Tommy did a excellent job, had a blast. Caught some real nice fish and was in the action the hole trip.
Charles Parrish: Hands down the best charter I’ve been on! Capt Clery is absolutely amazing. He grew up fishing the area and it shows. His knowledge and passion for fishing is incredible but he is also laid back and very patient while helping you land your prize catch! He was extremely accommodating as well. We booked right before our flight and he made it happen! Seriously the best. I would confidently say you will check off your bucket list tarpon off if you book with Backwater! I will definitely book with him every visit back.
Victoria Hartwell: and spent time educating us and making sure we felt comfortable with the equipment and the technique to land tarpon. We had 13 bites and landed one massive one, thanks to his determination to not give up! Even when the fish tried to escape by going under the boat and around the propeller, he jumped in the water to make sure the fish was safe and the line wouldn’t break. He was funny, and a great teacher. One of our most enjoyable fishing excursions we have ever done! Can 100% recommend them to anyone who wants to try and fish for tarpon in Puerto Rico!
darrin kneale: .
Rob K.: Fantastic charter trip today!! Captain Clery really put us on the fish! We went an amazing 4 for 7 with two trophy size 90+ pounders. We all had a great time! Captain Clery does a wonderful job! Thanks!!
Joel Penner: My son and I called on extremely short notice and were able to get a 4 hr evening tarpon charter with a young guy named Miguel, I've been a hunting guide for 30 yrs and its hard guiding a guide, this kid was awesome, knew the area, tried a few different methods of fishing, caught us fish, I don't actually want to sing the praises of Miguel too much because I want to keep him a secret, man I was impressed, will not go w anyone else in Puerto Rico
Jesse Penner: Me and my dad went out last night with Miguel, we have fished quite a bit back home in Canada but I have to say I haven’t had fun like this maybe ever. Miguel was an excellent guide, clearly very knowledgeable, down to earth and easy to talk to. We all caught, w my dad catching a 80-90lb fish. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting San Juan. We will definitely be back
Jacob Portillo: .Very personable which I think is important in a guide since you’re in a boat together all day and there’s sure to be down time. I’ve had dozens of guides throughout the years and Clergy is one of my top three. Extremely knowledgeable in the area and tarpon fishing, explains everything like the back of his hand. He impressed the heck out of me when I saw him hold a rod with one hand and driving the boat with the other helping me chase that trophy tarpon when I needed a break during the fight. All with a calm face the entire time, talk about easier said then done. Thank you so much backwater tarpon for the lifetime memories!
Janet Hawkins: that got away. Nonetheless, we know this species is tough to catch and had a great time. Thanks to Cody and everyone at Backwater for the wonderful experience!
Cherise Prestipino: Loved this tour! Our guide, Gabriel, was awesome and very experienced. He led us to a great spot to fish for big tarpon. We caught one large tarpon and had 3-4 other bites, and were fighting another 100+ pound tarpon for 10 minutes until it got off - darn! But…that’s fishing! All part of the game. It was exciting! Our guide also took us to sweet spots where we caught a small barracuda and a snapper. The lagoons are beautiful, but be sure to wear bug spray and sunscreen as there is no tree or canopy coverage. Highly recommend using Backwater Tarpon PR for your fishing tour!
Fishin Family: Tommy Fleming is an amazing guide. If you are in Puerto Rico, you have to fish with Tommy. He offers fly trips and spinning and he is great with beginners or advanced anglers. Its close to the airport too, so you can be fishing an hour after you land.
Gabriel Baez: Great service!!
Austin Cazier: was exceptional and got us on two monster tarpon, one of which we landed. Really great service. Really good value.
Talia Duarte: Austin was amazing, super nice and charismatic. We really enjoyed our first time fishing on a boat, the hubs was super happy since he was able to catch 2 tarpons with Austin’s help, he was great at instructing him on how to make sure he didn’t lose the catch. 100% would recommend!
