Devender: I recommend to call them before going as it's little out of place. Guy at the place is very friendly and explain food option well. It's very healthy and you can tell food is made with care and in service of lord as per their mission. Strongly recommended for vegan and vegetarian specially if you are craving a little Indian flavor. Place is a little small so it's for a quick eat and go, not really for fine dinning. I really appreciate the work they are doing! Hare Krishna!

Iguana Dance: This restaurant is the real thing. Run by a true Hindu with nothing but your best interest at heart. The food we had was excellent and the dessert was just as good! If you are a vegetarian or vegan you will wish you had found this place a long time ago! Even if you're a meat eater, the food will amaze you and you'll not be disappointed!
Gypsy Sunrise: Amazing Vegan Plate Lunch!!! Beautiful flavors and spices. Plate lunch is very generous portion and only $12. I also reccomend getting the juice it was super delicious as well! It’s actually served up almost instantly too! A great place to get a quick, healthy lunch. Which if you live in PR, you know that’s hard to find! Total hole in the wall but clean, and the AC was super cold! 5 stars all around! Try this place!!

Amber Gonzalez: Cute cafe with delicious drinks. We came here to cool off after walking around in the heat. They informed us that we had to wait about 30 min to order food before as they were transitioning from brunch to lunch/dinner but that we could still order drinks. We needed some time to cool off and rehydrate so we had no issues with that. Definitely recommend the mojitos and lavender lemonade. Once it was 4pm they promptly took our orders and our food did not take long to come out. Everything was delicious and I loved that they had vegan/vegetarian options as well.

KJ W: Es buena comida turca pero demasiado cara y con porciones pequeñas. El Baklava con helado fue lo más destacado junto con el hummus y el babaganoush. La carne estaba fresca pero necesitaba un poco de condimento. Terminó siendo una cena bastante cara probablemente debido a la ubicación turística, pero fue agradable para un descanso de la comida tradicional de relaciones públicas.
Sarah Lazcano: Ali Baba is the best place in all of San Juan! My husband and I came here every day of our vacation because of how excellent everything was. The atmosphere was splendidly seductive with incense and decorations and the food was the most authentic and mouth watering. It felt as if we had a second vacation to Turkey. There’s nothing on the menu that isn’t made to perfection.The service is by far the best in San Juan, including the chef/ owner who was more than welcoming and generous. Ali baba will be the only reason we come back to San Juan!

Each restaurant uses local ingredients, so the taste will differ from that in other countries.We had Iskender kebab and a small cheese pide. Honestly, as someone born in Turkey, I haven't tasted Iskender this close to the original in the USA.

Sheila Pérez: La comida excelente. Lo recomiendo. Hay variedad de opciones. Pedimos un bento box de pollo brocoli. Trajo arroz, pollo con brocoli, ensalada de lechuga y tomate, un rollo de vegetales y salsa de pato. El bento viene con una miso soup. Peter Bonilla: Walking down Viejo San Juan, this old man came advertising from outside, thankfully I was going there anyways with my uncles.The food was great, good falafels, hummus, and bread. The lamb was delicious and there was great presentation. Unfortunately, I do have to let you know the yellow curry is not actual curry. It's more like... guisado. Or just yellow colored chicken but not liquid.Also, for some reason, they played 18 VERSIONS of the eurovision song "Shake it up sekerim". I didn't know it was THAT good, but a peek of the kitchen showed the chef dancing.

Básicamente es un buffet donde eliges lo que quieres y cada plato cuesta entre $ 3 y 4, por lo que puedes conseguir un montón de comida a un precio excelente. David Taylor: My wife and I were staying in Condado and wanted to have a nice dinner on a Sunday evening. We originally had a reservation for 9:00, then I received a text message from the restaurant, it said something to the effect that to due to some circumstances our reservation time had been changed to 8:15. It wasn't an issue for us, just pointing it out. The service is slow, but helpful, and I've come to expect that in PR. The food is very good, but at this price point, food excellence is expected. We had several starters and the chicharonnes were delicious. The mains were the guiso and fish of the day. The fish of day dish was fantastic and the guiso was okay.
Elizabeth Cruz: So let me start by saying this place was not easy to spot. My family and I were heading to dinner somewhere else and it was closed. I looked on the GPS for a closer restaurant and JEnrique popped up. When we walked there were few tables available. What I liked was that we were a party of 10 without reservations and they accommodated us right away. Food was super good and host was very nice. BTW, do not leave this place without trying their amazing “batata y mojo” By far the best side dish you can ever try. Will definitely come back to this spot when I come back to PR.

Bhumika Saivamani: Nestled in the vibrant hotspot area near Columbus Square in Old San Juan, this restaurant caught our attention with its vegan options. It's one of the few places where we found vegan mofongo, which offered a truly unique taste experience.While the tofu dish was decent, I found it a bit bland. However, the accompanying rice was absolutely phenomenal, adding a burst of flavor to the meal. The guava pancakes were a delightful treat, offering a tasty twist on a classic dish. We also sampled the acerola juice, which was refreshingly good.Overall, our experience was positive, though I must admit it was a bit on the pricey side. Nevertheless, the unique vegan offerings and flavorful rice made it a worthwhile visit.
Lizabeth Wesely-Casella: This was the most amazing and unexpected meal! The best food we've had in Puerto Rico! Get the snapper with lemon, garlic, rosemary, and butter. It's too good to miss out on! The Mamposreo rice was delicious and the veg was perfection. I wish THIS Cafe Berlin was in my neighborhood in DC. I'd be there all the time! I'd give it 15 stars if I could.

Noemi Velasquez: Hands down the best piña colada in Puerto Rico and loved the coco rum added. I went to Barrachina and stood in line for over an hour and what a major disappointment! It did not live up to the hype! The bartender that invented the piña colada died many years ago and apparently the recipe died with him because what I tasted was a commercialized drink that was nothing more than mediocre.
Sharon Liz Morales-Santini: The restaurant is quaint and open. There is seating inside and outdoors. The owners and the staff make you feel welcomed and like family once you enter, and the service is top notch. You will also be welcomed by their friendly dog, Mia! The food is delicious and you can’t go wrong with any of the menu items. I highly recommend the mofongo con camarones al ajillo and the ceviche…OMG, amazing, Mildred is a true master in the kitchen! If you wish to try a cocktail, I highly recommend the coconut frappe with rum and the piña colada served inside a pineapple. They are superb! Ask Frank and Giovany to make you one of these delicious concoctions! Don’t miss out, you won’t be disappointed!

Maria Vergara: AMO! Este lugar! Soy vegetariana y he ensayado muchos lugares en PR de lugares vegetarianos y les puedo confirmar que este es el mejor. El personal del lugar tiene una muy buena vibra, el local es precioso lleno de plantas, y la comida es deliciosa! Tienen opciones variadas y los platos son auténticos con mucho sabor. Definitivamente lo recomiendo y definitivamente regresaré! Siempre son mi mejor opción cuando estoy pro la zona. Mi plato preferido es el Jibaro Bowl

Destaca también el seitán casero. A nosotros también nos encantaron los tacos. También se apreció una amplia selección de sabores de kombucha de Karibe kombucha. La única parte decepcionante es su horario limitado. Cierran temprano todos los días y no abren los sábados ni los domingos.
