Elaine Lewis: and the Pastelon and they did not disappoint. The Pastelon was hands down so delicious with sweet, cheesy and savoury flavours coming together! I was in awe and so glad that I was able to pack half of it to take it home. Every aspect of my dinner experience was fantastic from the mocktails to the starters and apps and the main dish, even dessert. One suggestion: because everything on the menu looked fabulous, it would be awesome to have a tasting menu option with smaller portions but where you can get to try multiple things. As a solo traveller, I love being able to experience new cuisines that way! Personally I would pay good money for something that like.

Ana Polanco: Best food in the area, great service n an awesome staff with a great customer service. I loved it.Platos vegetarianos: They have severals.

Na Ig: Platos recomendados Pastelón y Complimentary Chichaíto Shot

Emma Masters: Amazing service and a great way to end your trip. The food is very rich and so although some portions might be smaller, you won't want more because after the free soup, youll be full! Other items are huge servings like the Goat and the Carne Frita, which were both loved by the table. The octopus was very unique and the best I've ever had. Our service was very kind and they paid great attention to detail in terms of how the table felt and what we enjoyed. We came with an early reservation. Book a table if you go!

Pamela Mendez: I just want to start off by saying I NEVER write reviews on any restaurant but for Casita Miramar I HAD to! Casita Miramar has been the best restaurant I have been to in Puerto Rico! I went with a large group and EVERYONE said their food was delicious!!! Our waiter Gabriel was awesome he answered all questions was very attentive and overall provided GREAT service !! Everything about this restaurant was amazing food, vibe/atmosphere. I would 10/10 recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to PR. If you don’t come here you are truly missing out.

Cerena Gonzalez: We were very excited to try, but it was just OK for us. The food was good, but not great - not worth the cost. Service was great. We tried many small plates - the crudo; calabaza, robalo; gnocchi; heirloom tomato; empanadas - everything needed more salt or acid. We enjoyed the pika pina cocktail and appreciate that they offer a NA drink. We spent about $250. Likely not to return.

Mike Ramirez: besides the restaurant. Reservation is highly recommended.

Matthew Martin: Some of the best food I've had in a long time, and a perfect way to wrap up my first trip to San Juan. The servers and bartender were incredibly kind and frequently checked in to make sure I was doing okay and to reset the table for each course. For cocktails, I had the Corazón de Melón, which was quite refreshing. The Almojabánas fritters were a great way to start the meal, and the Arroz con Calamares was to die for. One appetizer + a large plate was plenty of food for one person. I also had the Tarta de Almendra & Melocotón, which was the right mix of sweet and tart, and the perfect way to finish a superb meal.Overall, Vianda is definitely worth a visit! I'm already looking forward to coming back on my next trip to the city!

Amanda Orta: My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Vianda in Santurce which is in San Juan, and it was an unforgettable experience. The ambience is absolutely adorable, with a chic and modern decor that instantly makes you feel special. The service was outstanding from start to finish. We felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of throughout the evening. The food was simply delicious. My personal favorite was the bacalao, while my husband enjoyed the Wagyu, which he recommends ordering medium to medium-well.We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner’s wife, Amelia, who was incredibly friendly and personable. Her warm hospitality added a lovely touch to our evening. If you’re visiting Puerto Rico, Vianda is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Harrison Logan: We were in old san juan for the day and looking for a lunch place and found this spot online. It's a perfectly acceptable restaurant with nothing to complain about, but nothing to write home about. We got a mofongo special with shrimp chicken and skirt steak which was good. Service was good. I don't think you'd be disappointed coming here realizing it's not trying to be the best spot in town

Bertrand Huybrechts: Look no further for an authentic Puerto Rican lunch at honest prices and great service. We wanted to have a taste for Puerto Rican cuisine and were more than impressed with Cafe Manolin. Located in a little side street but pretty easy to find you will immediately feel immersed with the locals in that great cafe/lunch spot. I went for the pina colada which was delicious because not too sweet and then we had the typical dish with snapper, rice, beans and plantains. As soon as we saw the rice and fish we knew it was gonna be great. Pro tip mix the beans with the rice as our server told us and it was so good. 16 dollars for a plate like that with a great piece of fish that was super fresh. Service was also top notch so will definitely be back. Thanks team

Alisa Roman: A place where the locals are many and the tourist very few. A have to stop whenever we make it to the coast.I would very much recommend breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches are cheap and simple. With such a simple menu you will find something even for the pickiest eater and the ingredients so fresh that no one will be able to complain. The bread being the highlight. The bread has a buttery crunch crust with a pillow soft inside.Dont go looking for a reason to dress up though, the chill food reflects the atmosphere. A nice start to or a break in the middle of a very hot sight seeing day. Be careful though, the breakfast is only served until 10:45. Though the lunch is just as GOOD, it is a bit more expensive.

Eric M “BoricuaVW67”: I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Casita Blanca restaurant and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, the charming atmosphere captured my attention. The menu, beautifully displayed on a chalkboard, showcased a delightful selection of local food and drink options. As I settled into my seat, the server brought out a plate of bacalaitos as an appetizer. These crispy, golden cod fritters were the perfect way to start the meal. The combination of flavors and textures was simply divine.Moving on to the main course, I was impressed by the variety of options available. Each dish was meticulously prepared with fresh, local ingredients. From savory seafood dishes to flavorful meat entrees, there was something to satisfy every palate. The attention to detail and the skillful execution of each dish truly showcased the culinary expertise of the chefs. To top off the unforgettable dining experience, the server surprised us with a cordial anise rum infused with coffee beans. This outstanding treat was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. The aromatic blend of anise and the rich flavor of coffee beans left a lasting impression.Overall, La Casita Blanca restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of a quaint atmosphere, a diverse menu on a chalkboard, and the delicious food made for an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to indulge in the flavors of local cuisine and enjoy a unique and memorable dining experience.Platos vegetarianos: Several vegetarian options availableEstacionamiento: There is a valet parking it’s based on tip only.

Marion: and the rum-infused flan. The staff was really nice and even sang a birthday song. Shout out to Stephanie for impeccable service on a rainy day. She gave us the best recommendations.

Genevieve Ingal: Location, ambiance, food and drinks were all on point. We had the rack of lamb as main dish, the shredded lamb on top to tostones for appetizer and their version of old fashioned and the Besito de Coco, their version of piña colada for drinks. Food was perfectly cooked with the flavors perfectly balanced. The Besito de Coco was so yummy and delectable. It is probably the best piña colada I've ever had. It has been four days since our dinner there and we are still thinking about going for another visit! Jafe, our server, was accommodating and helpful with recommendations. All in all, it was a great visit. We will definitely go back on our next visit to San Juan!

Random Knowbody: I loved the vibe here. I came on a Wednesday night and there was live music. I loved the ambiance and the location was very cute. Everyone was pleasant, friendly and helpful. Now onto the food. It was TOO salty. The rice was so hard it was sticking to my teeth. I had to have to sent back because it was too crunchy. My waitress didn't have a problem with me sending it back and she brought out a nice fresh bowl of rice that was a lot better. I got the whole friend snapper and I couldn't finish it because it was EXTREMELY salty. I am Jamaican, I LOVE fish so I was very disappointed in leaving half the fish on my plate. I am not sure if it was because the fish is straight from the sea or what, they have to pipe down on the salt. Make sure you ask them to use a little less for your food. If I could do it again, maybe I would visit but I'd get something else. I like the cutesy-ness of the restaurant but the food wouldn't bring me back.

Sharon DC: later on as we tried to finish our entrée. From the Can Can Pork Chop, Caldoso Lobster Rice, Caribbean Risotto, and Ropa Vieja which were plated nicely and huge in portions....it was all delicious. We swallowed it all down with the refreshing frozen drinks they had to offer.Alondra continued to be courteous by suggesting to my youngest the chicken strips with a side as her entrée. She even gave her the option of how it should be cooked: grilled or fried. Truly appreciated her kindness and attention to detail. At this point we were already in a food coma and couldn't go for desserts. We had to pack our leftovers and will continue to enjoy at home. Our dining experience was fantastic and we appreciated Alondra's thoughtful service which made it even better.

Andrew Koutalakis: We had Rabbit Fricassee, Smoked Pork and Chicken Sausage, Smoked Pork Meat, and the Yam, Eggplant and Squash Pastelon. Fish croquettes for an appetizer. Everone enjoyed their meals and cocktails. Service was outstanding. Great atmosphere and interior. My wife said she saw men at a table outside enjoying cigars and having a great time. Would recommend for groups and families alike.

Sophie Koutalakis: Had a lovely family dinner. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the restaurants vendors and the menu. She described the dishes we ordered to us, so we knew exactly what we were getting. Everything is fresh and farm to table, and their vendors are commited to increasing biodiversity. I shared the fish croquettes with my family, simply amazing. They are an appetizer so they are a smaller portion, but it was just enough before our main course split between me and my three other family members. For my main course I got the pastelón, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Everyone in my family ordered something different, and we ended up trying something from all of our dishes because it looked so good! My mom got the rabbit fricassee, my father the smoked pork meat, and my brother the smoked pork meat with chicken sausage. Everything was so amazing I wish I could have ordered multiple dishes! You get what you pay for too, the portions are perfectly sized.

Colleen Specht: WOW, this didn’t disappoint! More of a fixed price menu than a tasting menu, as you got the option to select a starter, appetizer, entree and dessert of your choice, and they also provided a second appetizer of a white bean truffle soup. Wine pairings were offered. We found their wine list to be excellent and selected a bottle of Gigondas plus a glass of Sauvignon Blanc to start. The food was excellent from start to finish with a beautiful presentation for each dish. Servers were attentive and polished. We enjoyed our experience tremendously and would return to San Juan just to eat here!Definitely worth a visit if you’ve got time in Old San Juan.

Shekinah Mateo: An unforgettable anniversary celebration at Marmalade in Old San Juan 🌟 From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance set the stage for a night of culinary excellence. We were given a VIP table, enhancing our special day from the start. The staff, led by the wonderful Ilieane, treated us like royalty. Each team member made it a point to stop by our table, offering warm anniversary wishes which made us feel incredibly special. The dining experience itself was nothing short of spectacular. Each course was a revelation of deep flavors, freshness, and quality that we’ve not encountered anywhere else in Puerto Rico or during our travels. The portions were surprisingly generous for a tasting menu, each dish crafted like a piece of art, culminating in a beautifully decorated dessert complete with a ‘Happy Anniversary’ chocolate plate. To make the evening even more memorable, the chef and staff presented us with a hand-signed card, beautifully illustrated, capturing the essence of their heartfelt service.Marmalade isn’t just a meal; it’s a full sensory experience that you truly have to see, taste, and feel for yourself. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply want to indulge in some of the finest dining Puerto Rico has to offer, Marmalade is an absolute must. It was worth every moment saved for this special occasion.

J M: . Definitely a fine dining experience in terms of service level & food presentation. I was wowed with every dish! Their signature white bean soup was OUT OF THIS WORLD. The floor manager

Ivan H: Amazing experience. The waiter from Chicago was fantastic. Food was amazing. Recommendations from the waiter were perfect.

Nereida Rodriguez: First time experience delicious food and the drinks 🍸 😋 👌🏽 😍

michells reece: My friend lauren looking for a nice spots to celebrate my birthday, and she choose this incredible place. It was one of the best meals we ever had! All of the food was amazing delicious and perfectly portioned. We loved all the concepts of a 5 course. Our server Illiane was so friendly and shes so beautiful and welcoming. Amy Benbarka: Can't believe I've missed out on this place! I visit Puerto Rico annually and generally love the food scene but I have someone missed this gem in Saturce. The cocktails are creative and strong, the menu is varied but not overwhelming and most importantly, everything we tried was absolutely delish. The vibe is chic and stylish even for the lunch hour when we visited. All around great experience and loved being about to support a local restauranteur.

Scott Marin: Servicio delicioso y gr8.Recomiendo encarecidamente el postelón.

Ricardo Castro: Creme de la creme!

John Jagneaux: Wow, just wow! What an amazing place This is! The food is absolutely delicious, the service is very professional and top-notch in the atmosphere Is elegant and romantic. Cocktails were the best around. The Pastalone Was my absolute favorite thing I ate on the island. The grilled octopus was just scrumptious. We let our waiter pick the dessert, Which was a Nutella sandwich covered in powdered sugar with vanilla ice cream. Couldn’t ask for a better experience! This place is a must when visiting San Juan!

Daya Mena: When I made the reservation, when we arrived and spoke to the host and then later when speaking to the server, I made clear that it was my partners birthday and requested birthday dessert with a candle. We never received nor were asked about dessert. It took us 40 minutes after our reservation to be able to place our order, and a couple seated next to us that arrived after us received their meal before we did. The food was phenomenal, but we wondered if the subpar service was because we were visibly queer. I’m disappointed and expected more from such a renowned eatery.

David Taylor: My wife and I were staying in Condado and wanted to have a nice dinner on a Sunday evening. We originally had a reservation for 9:00, then I received a text message from the restaurant, it said something to the effect that to due to some circumstances our reservation time had been changed to 8:15. It wasn't an issue for us, just pointing it out. The service is slow, but helpful, and I've come to expect that in PR. The food is very good, but at this price point, food excellence is expected. We had several starters and the chicharonnes were delicious. The mains were the guiso and fish of the day. The fish of day dish was fantastic and the guiso was okay.

Elizabeth Cruz: So let me start by saying this place was not easy to spot. My family and I were heading to dinner somewhere else and it was closed. I looked on the GPS for a closer restaurant and JEnrique popped up. When we walked there were few tables available. What I liked was that we were a party of 10 without reservations and they accommodated us right away. Food was super good and host was very nice. BTW, do not leave this place without trying their amazing “batata y mojo” By far the best side dish you can ever try. Will definitely come back to this spot when I come back to PR.

Antoine Prioleau: This place gets a 5 star review across the board. Me and my family of 3 went to this restaurant located in old San Juan. After I tour through the area, we came upon this place because my daughter been asking for tacos the whole trip haha. When we arrived the host/waiter sat us down and accommodated us because we had a small stroller for my son. We started off with appetizers such has elote corn, fondue, and cassava fries. As for drinks me and my wife had passion fruit margaritas. Once I knew the appetizers and drinks were great, I knew the entree would be as well. My daughter order pork belly tacos, I had chicken tacos and my wife had fish tacos. The seasoning on all 3 tacos was delicious. We sat ate and converse for about 2 hours. I recommend this place if you are in old San Juan area. Thank you La Madre.

Steven Kanavalli: Was in the mood for some Mexican food while staying in Old San Juan PR 🇵🇷. Read some reviews about this place so decided to give it a shot.I was not disappointed. The food is delicious and very authentic. I had the pork belly tacos, while people in our party had the duck quesadillas. All of it was good.Since the restaurant was full we sat in the alley which in itself was a vibe.Don’t think about it, head to this place if you want something else besides PR food.

Spencer C Dorhout: All-around excellence. The fish tacos were the best I’ve had in my entire life, no question about it. Our bartender was fantastic, artfully whipping up drinks and taking orders and cleaning at the same time, but still happy to explain everything to us. You could tell the employees were proud of the restaurant; they were explaining how many of the items were house-made and even who made them that day, it was refreshing to see such an obvious love of their restaurant. Now we love it too!

Pablo Baez: Casual restaurant with very well prepared dishes, their pasta is specially good since it is always al dente a well made sauce very flavorful but not overpowering so as to kill the dish. The appetizers are also delicious particularly their pizzetta and the burrata which is always fresh.Service is friendly and prompt .The restaurant is indeed an osteria on Loíza street

It was a great suggestion! Very good all together but whatever they use to season the beef is amazing. Delicious and will be trying to make a copycat recipe for at home.

Kate Donofrio: I can’t say enough good things about 311. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend during our first trip to PR and we haven’t made a trip since without enjoying a meal here. 3 so far. The staff measure their tenure in decades, the service is impeccable, and the food is amazing. Our most recent visit was for our rehearsal dinner with a group of 16. Organizing this event with the owner Sylma could not have been easier. Her communication, flexibility, and attention to detail made planning easy and the event flawless. If you’re looking for incredible food with top notch service in a relaxed atmosphere, Tres Cent Once is your place.

Devlyn Bodden: , was the acidity of some of the sauces. For example, the acidity in the ginger and turmeric sauce for the pastel overwhelms the flavors, and the pastel soaks up too much of it. Also, the acidity in the crudo, although expected in the dish, was too potent, making the experience of eating it a bit unpleasant. In the roasted fish

Ricardo Castro: Great food. Really creative Chef. Will visit again. Service was great too!! 4 🌟 because dessert needed help. Besides that, great!!Thanks Chef for your creativity!!! Keep representing Puerto Rico 🇵🇷.

Sebastián Rea: This place is spectacular. A restaurant with heart, soul, and purpose. The food is unique and delicious. The staff and service all made me feel like I was family. I came for the food and left with an experience. If you are in San Juan, you must check this place out. I came multiple times while I was on vacation because I wanted to try everything on the menu. And don't get me started on the drinks! Simply amazing! More restaurants should take notes about how this place does business because they could learn a thing or too. Trust me, you won't be disappointed here. Platos vegetarianos: Many vegan options

Tomás B.: and the beef stake were extremely salty

Michael Donnelly: Incredible locally sourced food, impeccably crafted drinks, and friendly service. What more could you ask for?

M- T-: I couldn’t possibly highly recommend this place enough. Must try in PR! Definitely recommend the tasting experience! The waiter with the curly mustache is so attentive and kind! I’ve brought many people here and they are always wowed by the experience. Excellent date or celebratory dinner spot! I would say maybe even consider for a Michelin star

Selin G: Absolutely delightful experience that makes you get to know Puerto Rico by food. All the food is locally sourced and every meal is explained to us by the sous chef as she was serving it. We had the wine pairing along with both the vegetarian and the omnivorous option. There were four food acts and a dessert act, each and every single one very special and well thought. The food was very simple but layered with so many textures at times. The restaurant is located in a beautiful area and has a very cozy and friendly environment. This place really enhanced our experience in Puerto Rico, must eat here!
