Elaine Lewis: and the Pastelon and they did not disappoint. The Pastelon was hands down so delicious with sweet, cheesy and savoury flavours coming together! I was in awe and so glad that I was able to pack half of it to take it home. Every aspect of my dinner experience was fantastic from the mocktails to the starters and apps and the main dish, even dessert. One suggestion: because everything on the menu looked fabulous, it would be awesome to have a tasting menu option with smaller portions but where you can get to try multiple things. As a solo traveller, I love being able to experience new cuisines that way! Personally I would pay good money for something that like.

Ana Polanco: Best food in the area, great service n an awesome staff with a great customer service. I loved it.Platos vegetarianos: They have severals.

Na Ig: Platos recomendados Pastelón y Complimentary Chichaíto Shot

Emma Masters: Amazing service and a great way to end your trip. The food is very rich and so although some portions might be smaller, you won't want more because after the free soup, youll be full! Other items are huge servings like the Goat and the Carne Frita, which were both loved by the table. The octopus was very unique and the best I've ever had. Our service was very kind and they paid great attention to detail in terms of how the table felt and what we enjoyed. We came with an early reservation. Book a table if you go!

Pamela Mendez: I just want to start off by saying I NEVER write reviews on any restaurant but for Casita Miramar I HAD to! Casita Miramar has been the best restaurant I have been to in Puerto Rico! I went with a large group and EVERYONE said their food was delicious!!! Our waiter Gabriel was awesome he answered all questions was very attentive and overall provided GREAT service !! Everything about this restaurant was amazing food, vibe/atmosphere. I would 10/10 recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to PR. If you don’t come here you are truly missing out.

Natasha MW: and the waiter suggested the "Puerto Rico" sampler for 6, and it was the perfect amount of food, variety

Steven Kanavalli: Another local eatery in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. It doesn’t look like much, but the food here is delicious and very local. We had the fish and shrimp dishes and it was refreshing to get away from the fried food for once 🤣The service is exceptional and we were promptly seated.Check this place out if you are in the area

Eric M “BoricuaVW67”: I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Casita Blanca restaurant and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, the charming atmosphere captured my attention. The menu, beautifully displayed on a chalkboard, showcased a delightful selection of local food and drink options. As I settled into my seat, the server brought out a plate of bacalaitos as an appetizer. These crispy, golden cod fritters were the perfect way to start the meal. The combination of flavors and textures was simply divine.Moving on to the main course, I was impressed by the variety of options available. Each dish was meticulously prepared with fresh, local ingredients. From savory seafood dishes to flavorful meat entrees, there was something to satisfy every palate. The attention to detail and the skillful execution of each dish truly showcased the culinary expertise of the chefs. To top off the unforgettable dining experience, the server surprised us with a cordial anise rum infused with coffee beans. This outstanding treat was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. The aromatic blend of anise and the rich flavor of coffee beans left a lasting impression.Overall, La Casita Blanca restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of a quaint atmosphere, a diverse menu on a chalkboard, and the delicious food made for an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to indulge in the flavors of local cuisine and enjoy a unique and memorable dining experience.Platos vegetarianos: Several vegetarian options availableEstacionamiento: There is a valet parking it’s based on tip only.

Emily Sims: Outstanding food & cocktails. Arrived amidst a torrential downpour and had the place to ourselves. Staff was helpful and friendly. One of the best meals we’ve had in San Juan.Platos recomendados Lick Your Plate Chicken y Snapper …

David Taylor: My wife and I were staying in Condado and wanted to have a nice dinner on a Sunday evening. We originally had a reservation for 9:00, then I received a text message from the restaurant, it said something to the effect that to due to some circumstances our reservation time had been changed to 8:15. It wasn't an issue for us, just pointing it out. The service is slow, but helpful, and I've come to expect that in PR. The food is very good, but at this price point, food excellence is expected. We had several starters and the chicharonnes were delicious. The mains were the guiso and fish of the day. The fish of day dish was fantastic and the guiso was okay.

Elizabeth Cruz: So let me start by saying this place was not easy to spot. My family and I were heading to dinner somewhere else and it was closed. I looked on the GPS for a closer restaurant and JEnrique popped up. When we walked there were few tables available. What I liked was that we were a party of 10 without reservations and they accommodated us right away. Food was super good and host was very nice. BTW, do not leave this place without trying their amazing “batata y mojo” By far the best side dish you can ever try. Will definitely come back to this spot when I come back to PR.

Harrison Logan: We were in old san juan for the day and looking for a lunch place and found this spot online. It's a perfectly acceptable restaurant with nothing to complain about, but nothing to write home about. We got a mofongo special with shrimp chicken and skirt steak which was good. Service was good. I don't think you'd be disappointed coming here realizing it's not trying to be the best spot in town

Bertrand Huybrechts: Look no further for an authentic Puerto Rican lunch at honest prices and great service. We wanted to have a taste for Puerto Rican cuisine and were more than impressed with Cafe Manolin. Located in a little side street but pretty easy to find you will immediately feel immersed with the locals in that great cafe/lunch spot. I went for the pina colada which was delicious because not too sweet and then we had the typical dish with snapper, rice, beans and plantains. As soon as we saw the rice and fish we knew it was gonna be great. Pro tip mix the beans with the rice as our server told us and it was so good. 16 dollars for a plate like that with a great piece of fish that was super fresh. Service was also top notch so will definitely be back. Thanks team

Queeny B: Gran lugar / asequible muy recomendableApenas hay estacionamiento disponible. Toma un Uber si vienes aquí.

Alisa Roman: A place where the locals are many and the tourist very few. A have to stop whenever we make it to the coast.I would very much recommend breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches are cheap and simple. With such a simple menu you will find something even for the pickiest eater and the ingredients so fresh that no one will be able to complain. The bread being the highlight. The bread has a buttery crunch crust with a pillow soft inside.Dont go looking for a reason to dress up though, the chill food reflects the atmosphere. A nice start to or a break in the middle of a very hot sight seeing day. Be careful though, the breakfast is only served until 10:45. Though the lunch is just as GOOD, it is a bit more expensive.

Marion: and the rum-infused flan. The staff was really nice and even sang a birthday song. Shout out to Stephanie for impeccable service on a rainy day. She gave us the best recommendations.

Genevieve Ingal: Location, ambiance, food and drinks were all on point. We had the rack of lamb as main dish, the shredded lamb on top to tostones for appetizer and their version of old fashioned and the Besito de Coco, their version of piña colada for drinks. Food was perfectly cooked with the flavors perfectly balanced. The Besito de Coco was so yummy and delectable. It is probably the best piña colada I've ever had. It has been four days since our dinner there and we are still thinking about going for another visit! Jafe, our server, was accommodating and helpful with recommendations. All in all, it was a great visit. We will definitely go back on our next visit to San Juan!

Random Knowbody: I loved the vibe here. I came on a Wednesday night and there was live music. I loved the ambiance and the location was very cute. Everyone was pleasant, friendly and helpful. Now onto the food. It was TOO salty. The rice was so hard it was sticking to my teeth. I had to have to sent back because it was too crunchy. My waitress didn't have a problem with me sending it back and she brought out a nice fresh bowl of rice that was a lot better. I got the whole friend snapper and I couldn't finish it because it was EXTREMELY salty. I am Jamaican, I LOVE fish so I was very disappointed in leaving half the fish on my plate. I am not sure if it was because the fish is straight from the sea or what, they have to pipe down on the salt. Make sure you ask them to use a little less for your food. If I could do it again, maybe I would visit but I'd get something else. I like the cutesy-ness of the restaurant but the food wouldn't bring me back.

Sharon DC: later on as we tried to finish our entrée. From the Can Can Pork Chop, Caldoso Lobster Rice, Caribbean Risotto, and Ropa Vieja which were plated nicely and huge in portions....it was all delicious. We swallowed it all down with the refreshing frozen drinks they had to offer.Alondra continued to be courteous by suggesting to my youngest the chicken strips with a side as her entrée. She even gave her the option of how it should be cooked: grilled or fried. Truly appreciated her kindness and attention to detail. At this point we were already in a food coma and couldn't go for desserts. We had to pack our leftovers and will continue to enjoy at home. Our dining experience was fantastic and we appreciated Alondra's thoughtful service which made it even better.

Andrew Koutalakis: We had Rabbit Fricassee, Smoked Pork and Chicken Sausage, Smoked Pork Meat, and the Yam, Eggplant and Squash Pastelon. Fish croquettes for an appetizer. Everone enjoyed their meals and cocktails. Service was outstanding. Great atmosphere and interior. My wife said she saw men at a table outside enjoying cigars and having a great time. Would recommend for groups and families alike.

Sophie Koutalakis: Had a lovely family dinner. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the restaurants vendors and the menu. She described the dishes we ordered to us, so we knew exactly what we were getting. Everything is fresh and farm to table, and their vendors are commited to increasing biodiversity. I shared the fish croquettes with my family, simply amazing. They are an appetizer so they are a smaller portion, but it was just enough before our main course split between me and my three other family members. For my main course I got the pastelón, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Everyone in my family ordered something different, and we ended up trying something from all of our dishes because it looked so good! My mom got the rabbit fricassee, my father the smoked pork meat, and my brother the smoked pork meat with chicken sausage. Everything was so amazing I wish I could have ordered multiple dishes! You get what you pay for too, the portions are perfectly sized.

Sergio Hernandez: and the grilled octopus
