Elizahbet A: I really wanted to love this place being that it is a local small business but there was one thing I just couldn't get past. Our waiter was wonderful. Everyone greeted us from the entrance and after seeing how hot we were , he switched us over to a separate dining area that was air-conditioned.We ordered Juguito de Parcha with was super sweet and refreshing. I did order another glass of water on the side to reduce it a bit. We ordered our meal. I asked for Pechuga rellena with papas, tostones and salad. Please Ask what's in the salad if you are NOT a cabbage fan. I'm not so that was not fun for me . The chicken started gooing extra melted cheese when I cut it. It looked like milk gooing out. I ordered papas with my meal thinking it's potatoes Well, it was French fries. That was a sad surprise . I just couldn't eat anything but the tostones and decided to order a side of arroz Con habichuelas.Man that really hit the spot! Yes it was just rice and beans but it was hearty and comforting food!So back to what I couldn't get past. EVERYTHING we ordered that was fried was used in the same frying oil as the meats . So the fries had an after taste of fried meat . The tostones .. the chicken! Everything!I would still come back and maybe ask what comes with the order, is it fried in same oil ? Because in Texas, the say salad .. we get lettuce , tomatoes ..etc . They say fries and it's French fries . They say potatoes and it's mashed potatoes ,home fries , roasted potatoes .. etc etc .This is not the establishments fault , it's ours for assuming especially when we're in another country. All in all , we liked the service and some of the simpler food.

Natasha MW: and the waiter suggested the "Puerto Rico" sampler for 6, and it was the perfect amount of food, variety

Steven Kanavalli: Another local eatery in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. It doesn’t look like much, but the food here is delicious and very local. We had the fish and shrimp dishes and it was refreshing to get away from the fried food for once 🤣The service is exceptional and we were promptly seated.Check this place out if you are in the area

Eric M “BoricuaVW67”: I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Casita Blanca restaurant and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, the charming atmosphere captured my attention. The menu, beautifully displayed on a chalkboard, showcased a delightful selection of local food and drink options. As I settled into my seat, the server brought out a plate of bacalaitos as an appetizer. These crispy, golden cod fritters were the perfect way to start the meal. The combination of flavors and textures was simply divine.Moving on to the main course, I was impressed by the variety of options available. Each dish was meticulously prepared with fresh, local ingredients. From savory seafood dishes to flavorful meat entrees, there was something to satisfy every palate. The attention to detail and the skillful execution of each dish truly showcased the culinary expertise of the chefs. To top off the unforgettable dining experience, the server surprised us with a cordial anise rum infused with coffee beans. This outstanding treat was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. The aromatic blend of anise and the rich flavor of coffee beans left a lasting impression.Overall, La Casita Blanca restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of a quaint atmosphere, a diverse menu on a chalkboard, and the delicious food made for an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to indulge in the flavors of local cuisine and enjoy a unique and memorable dining experience.Platos vegetarianos: Several vegetarian options availableEstacionamiento: There is a valet parking it’s based on tip only.

Beullah Escalante: with the Arroz con gandules which tasted immaculate. My friends reccomend their shrimp triffongo and the regular moffongo. And the garlic shrimp with rice and beans. And their passionfruit juice. We went before it got busy so we got seated right away. I recommend doing this since they don't have reservations and it does get busy.Good vibes. Close in distance to hotels. There's live music as well. When we went sunday evening there was a sax player.

Angelo Rosario: The food at Orozco is prepared fresh daily , and it tastes phenomenal! You will not be disappointed.

Harrison Logan: We were in old san juan for the day and looking for a lunch place and found this spot online. It's a perfectly acceptable restaurant with nothing to complain about, but nothing to write home about. We got a mofongo special with shrimp chicken and skirt steak which was good. Service was good. I don't think you'd be disappointed coming here realizing it's not trying to be the best spot in town

Bertrand Huybrechts: Look no further for an authentic Puerto Rican lunch at honest prices and great service. We wanted to have a taste for Puerto Rican cuisine and were more than impressed with Cafe Manolin. Located in a little side street but pretty easy to find you will immediately feel immersed with the locals in that great cafe/lunch spot. I went for the pina colada which was delicious because not too sweet and then we had the typical dish with snapper, rice, beans and plantains. As soon as we saw the rice and fish we knew it was gonna be great. Pro tip mix the beans with the rice as our server told us and it was so good. 16 dollars for a plate like that with a great piece of fish that was super fresh. Service was also top notch so will definitely be back. Thanks team

Alisa Roman: A place where the locals are many and the tourist very few. A have to stop whenever we make it to the coast.I would very much recommend breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches are cheap and simple. With such a simple menu you will find something even for the pickiest eater and the ingredients so fresh that no one will be able to complain. The bread being the highlight. The bread has a buttery crunch crust with a pillow soft inside.Dont go looking for a reason to dress up though, the chill food reflects the atmosphere. A nice start to or a break in the middle of a very hot sight seeing day. Be careful though, the breakfast is only served until 10:45. Though the lunch is just as GOOD, it is a bit more expensive.

Adolfo John: Platos recomendados Mofongo Relleno

Paul Masih: Small cozy place with social distancing still in mind and great customer service made this visit a great experience. I had only a few items from the menu because my appetite was small but they were all very delicious. Price seemed a little high but that was to be expected during these times when commodities and supply chains are disrupted by the pandemic. So no fault there.

Pranav Panwar: The environment was amazing and the food was great. Enjoyed a lot with a group of small group of friends and loved the music.Platos vegetarianos: There are numerous Vegan options to choose from.

Katie Montgomery: Wow! So impressed with this place. Food was so fast, which was awesome because we were starving! I got the Jackfruit platter though i’m not vegan i wanted to try it and it was good for what it was! Definitely a good substitute but the brisket stuffed avocado was awesome! Also the pulled pork platter, tostados were very plain so i don’t recommend those but the CORNBREAD was thee best part i gobbled up the whole thing. The meat platter for 2 people was massive, could definitely feed three especially if you don’t eat like you haven’t had a meal in days! Check out this place it’s awesome! service was good as well!

Sandra Cortez: Very good vegan BBQ experience! Always happy to find places that not only accommodate vegans, but have a full vegan menu! Their jackfruit pulled BBQ is definitely the star of the show and their loaded avocado was incredible! We also ordered tacos which were great. Absolutely loved their fried and the fried pana. Quick service and good drinks! Great prices too! And while eating, we also had the opportunity to listen to a band play outside.Platos vegetarianos: Vegan menu options

Elaine Lewis: and the Pastelon and they did not disappoint. The Pastelon was hands down so delicious with sweet, cheesy and savoury flavours coming together! I was in awe and so glad that I was able to pack half of it to take it home. Every aspect of my dinner experience was fantastic from the mocktails to the starters and apps and the main dish, even dessert. One suggestion: because everything on the menu looked fabulous, it would be awesome to have a tasting menu option with smaller portions but where you can get to try multiple things. As a solo traveller, I love being able to experience new cuisines that way! Personally I would pay good money for something that like.

Ana Polanco: Best food in the area, great service n an awesome staff with a great customer service. I loved it.Platos vegetarianos: They have severals.

Na Ig: Platos recomendados Pastelón y Complimentary Chichaíto Shot

Emma Masters: Amazing service and a great way to end your trip. The food is very rich and so although some portions might be smaller, you won't want more because after the free soup, youll be full! Other items are huge servings like the Goat and the Carne Frita, which were both loved by the table. The octopus was very unique and the best I've ever had. Our service was very kind and they paid great attention to detail in terms of how the table felt and what we enjoyed. We came with an early reservation. Book a table if you go!

Pamela Mendez: I just want to start off by saying I NEVER write reviews on any restaurant but for Casita Miramar I HAD to! Casita Miramar has been the best restaurant I have been to in Puerto Rico! I went with a large group and EVERYONE said their food was delicious!!! Our waiter Gabriel was awesome he answered all questions was very attentive and overall provided GREAT service !! Everything about this restaurant was amazing food, vibe/atmosphere. I would 10/10 recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to PR. If you don’t come here you are truly missing out.

Emily Sims: Outstanding food & cocktails. Arrived amidst a torrential downpour and had the place to ourselves. Staff was helpful and friendly. One of the best meals we’ve had in San Juan.Platos recomendados Lick Your Plate Chicken y Snapper …

David Taylor: My wife and I were staying in Condado and wanted to have a nice dinner on a Sunday evening. We originally had a reservation for 9:00, then I received a text message from the restaurant, it said something to the effect that to due to some circumstances our reservation time had been changed to 8:15. It wasn't an issue for us, just pointing it out. The service is slow, but helpful, and I've come to expect that in PR. The food is very good, but at this price point, food excellence is expected. We had several starters and the chicharonnes were delicious. The mains were the guiso and fish of the day. The fish of day dish was fantastic and the guiso was okay.

Elizabeth Cruz: So let me start by saying this place was not easy to spot. My family and I were heading to dinner somewhere else and it was closed. I looked on the GPS for a closer restaurant and JEnrique popped up. When we walked there were few tables available. What I liked was that we were a party of 10 without reservations and they accommodated us right away. Food was super good and host was very nice. BTW, do not leave this place without trying their amazing “batata y mojo” By far the best side dish you can ever try. Will definitely come back to this spot when I come back to PR.

Aaron Cotty: I ate at 1950's. It is upstairs on the second floor. There was a little wait outside as there are 3 restaurants running out of the same kitchen. The line went quickly. I was immediately approached, asked to scan the menu QR code from the restaurant I wished to order. I ordered from a very friendly waitress and had the food delivered from another smiley member of the wait staff. I got croquettes and country rice with a ginger ale. Everything came out in a jif and was incredible. The ambiance is chill and authentic. Highly recommended.

Mark Behrens: Ok, we all know Condado beach is going to be a bit touristy, but you want the bomb puerto rican food paired with a top notch dining experience - 1950 is your place! I'm talking mofongo, I'm talking tostones - we had to come back the next day for seconds on the tostones ceviche! If you come with a party of 4 or more you MUST order the jibaro platter - a perfect combination of awesome appetizers. Perched on a second level rooftop setup with ample outdoor seating, very intimate and romantic!
