Alvah Tyson Wickboldt Jr.: I visited this establishment twice during a recent vacation to Puerto Rico. Our first stop was with a group on a food tour. We were able to sample a delicious ham and melted cheese sandwich on croissant as well as espresso. It was so delicious, we went back the following morning to get coffee for the entire group. It is a popular place, but they produce the beverages relatively quickly. Itâs also a great part of town for walking, sitting, and people watching. Leslie, I am a huge coffee snob, and this place delivers. Very nice espresso.

Vanessa Candelaria: I only tried the cold brew and it was really well made.It had really great vibes and was decorated cute. The staff was friendly and I would definitely come back and try it again.Itâs a convenient location and they have bathrooms available so a nice place to take a break from walking around San Juan.
Sergio Hernandez: . The Salmon Avocado toast was probably the best out of what we ordered. The Ham, Egg and Cheese sandwich was just too plain. Fresh Orange juice was good. Coffee was well prepared. Good place for a quick bite with decent prices I might say.
Sharon Tyler: Canât wait for their crop to return to levels where they can sell their whole beans again. Until then, I love to stop in for a tomato jam and boursin toast. My daughter loves their salmon sandwiches. The interior courtyard is a quiet reprieve from the busy neighborhood. Friendly staff. I think this is a stop for some of the private tours as I often see groups going to the back to see how they sort and roast their beans. This place actually has peaberry quality if that matters to you.

Carlos Perez: EncarguĂ© un bizcocho mediano como para 12 personas, pero al recogerlo me sorprendiĂł su tamaño, por que se veĂa grande. El bizcocho era de vainilla, relleno de guayaba y con merengue flameado en la parte superior. Una vez que lo probamos, el delicioso sabor fue del agrado de todos, pero surgiĂł un pequeño inconveniente, el relleno de guayaba estaba concentrado en el centro del bizcocho, lo que generaba un pequeño desorden al tener que distribuirlo en cada porciĂłn.Aunque el bizcocho en sĂ era hermoso, notĂ© que su tamaño debajo del merengue era bastante pequeño. Me pareciĂł que el merengue era excesivo en comparaciĂłn con el tamaño del bizcocho. SentĂ que estaba cortando mĂĄs merengue que bizcocho, lo cual fue un tanto decepcionante. Definitivamente, no creo que el bizcocho pueda satisfacer a mĂĄs de 10 personas si desean disfrutar de una porciĂłn adecuada, mientras que el merengue podrĂa servir para 20 personas.Considerando el precio que paguĂ© de $64 dĂłlares, esperaba una proporciĂłn mĂĄs equilibrada entre el bizcocho y el merengue. Personalmente, prefiero los cupcakes de Vanilla Bean Cupcakery en lugar de este bizcocho.

Jessica: Currently our favorite weekend breakfast spot in San Juan. While their coffee isn't the best we've tried in the area, their sandwiches certainly are! Really delicious with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Not to mention, the staff are really friendly and have great energy. Love the atmosphere. William McMichael: Barista Squared is your local, better-than-Starbucks, option. The cappuccino I had was hand pulled and served in a the traditional ceramic cup. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich came on a croissant that a Parisian would recognize. And when I asked for two cappuccinos they made the first one and then waited until I was done with it to make the second one. Very nice place!

David Harris: The cafe was highly recommended by the hotel across the street, and I can see why. A small place with a big love of coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The selection of local Puerto Rican coffees was small but sufficient. I would highly recommend the cafe to enjoy a great cup of coffee, a tea or a nice selection of pastries.
joel cleare: I came across this coffee by luck. A friend who doesnât drink coffee received it as a gift from someone who was recently on a cruise to Puerto Rico. I absolutely love coffee and make it several different methods. Today I used a moka pot and the coffee was great ! I believe itâs the Lares variety. Whole bean. Taste like a medium / dark roast. Excellent find.

Both were amazing.I would give it 5 stars, but we went in wanting iced drinks and they did not have any cups for iced drinks so they could only serve hot drinks. They offered to give us a cup of ice and we could mix the hot drink into the cold ice on our own, but that sounded kind of weird, so we chose to do the hot lattes. It was 9:30am so I'm not sure if we came too early for iced drinks, or if they just ran out of cups and didn't restock.
