Bill Shafer: We were walking around town and had a nice snack here March 2017

Edward Vessella: ¡El café estuvo genial!Personal...

Brian Cooper: Welcoming

Alvah Tyson Wickboldt Jr.: I visited this establishment twice during a recent vacation to Puerto Rico. Our first stop was with a group on a food tour. We were able to sample a delicious ham and melted cheese sandwich on croissant as well as espresso. It was so delicious, we went back the following morning to get coffee for the entire group. It is a popular place, but they produce the beverages relatively quickly. It’s also a great part of town for walking, sitting, and people watching. Leslie, I am a huge coffee snob, and this place delivers. Very nice espresso.

Zenaida Diaz: I had a yummy iced latte and my crew had cappuccino they loved it. We also tried their Brandy cake, guava coconut pastry and brownie all really good!Estacionamiento: Parked at Doña Fela it's right down the block.

Vanessa Candelaria: I only tried the cold brew and it was really well made.It had really great vibes and was decorated cute. The staff was friendly and I would definitely come back and try it again. It’s a convenient location and they have bathrooms available so a nice place to take a break from walking around San Juan.

Sergio Hernandez: . The Salmon Avocado toast was probably the best out of what we ordered. The Ham, Egg and Cheese sandwich was just too plain. Fresh Orange juice was good. Coffee was well prepared. Good place for a quick bite with decent prices I might say.

Sharon Tyler: Can’t wait for their crop to return to levels where they can sell their whole beans again. Until then, I love to stop in for a tomato jam and boursin toast. My daughter loves their salmon sandwiches. The interior courtyard is a quiet reprieve from the busy neighborhood. Friendly staff. I think this is a stop for some of the private tours as I often see groups going to the back to see how they sort and roast their beans. This place actually has peaberry quality if that matters to you.

David Harris: The cafe was highly recommended by the hotel across the street, and I can see why. A small place with a big love of coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The selection of local Puerto Rican coffees was small but sufficient. I would highly recommend the cafe to enjoy a great cup of coffee, a tea or a nice selection of pastries.

joel cleare: I came across this coffee by luck. A friend who doesn’t drink coffee received it as a gift from someone who was recently on a cruise to Puerto Rico. I absolutely love coffee and make it several different methods. Today I used a moka pot and the coffee was great ! I believe it’s the Lares variety. Whole bean. Taste like a medium / dark roast. Excellent find.

Skylar Dunning: Had quesitos and lattes. Both were amazing.I would give it 5 stars, but we went in wanting iced drinks and they did not have any cups for iced drinks so they could only serve hot drinks. They offered to give us a cup of ice and we could mix the hot drink into the cold ice on our own, but that sounded kind of weird, so we chose to do the hot lattes. It was 9:30am so I'm not sure if we came too early for iced drinks, or if they just ran out of cups and didn't restock.

Susy Wiggins: Platos recomendados Come for Great Cup of Coffee, Mocha Latte, Iced Latte, Drip Coffee, Roast, Espresso O e Island Banana Latte

¡Perfecto! ¡Altamente recomendado! 🇵🇷🏝️☀️🌈🎉🙏👍🏻👍🏻

The atmosphere inside is very relaxed and tranquil with just the right level of instrumental music that helps the mind get a break from the city outside. The food was delicious! and very good price per serving size!* The parking space can be challenging as there is not a parking lot.

¡Volveremos!

Jessica: Currently our favorite weekend breakfast spot in San Juan. While their coffee isn't the best we've tried in the area, their sandwiches certainly are! Really delicious with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Not to mention, the staff are really friendly and have great energy. Love the atmosphere. Dog friendly, too!Platos vegetarianos: Pesto sandwich is delicious!

Emily: From the moment you step into Barista Squared, you're enveloped by an inviting ambiance, surrounded by beautiful plants and greeted by friendly, smiling faces. The coffee shop's music perfectly complements the atmosphere, creating a relaxing and enjoyable experience. On our first visit, we enjoyed a perfectly crafted cortado, an iced latte with coconut flavor, a delicious almond croissant, and a satisfying breakfast sandwich. So impressed, we found ourselves returning every day for a week, each time indulging in the iced latte with coconut flavor and exploring a variety of other delightful menu items and pastries. *guava butter*Barista Squared has become a must-visit for us whenever we're in Puerto Rico, and we eagerly look forward to our next visit.

Paul S: The best coffee you can get without going to Mirimar.

William McMichael: Barista Squared is your local, better-than-Starbucks, option. The cappuccino I had was hand pulled and served in a the traditional ceramic cup. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich came on a croissant that a Parisian would recognize. And when I asked for two cappuccinos they made the first one and then waited until I was done with it to make the second one. Very nice place!

Devin Dotson: Great local coffee shop. Had good iced mocha with oat milk several mornings. Pretty quick service.

CreativeSource1: Pannes is one of my all time favorites on ashford and not for obvious reasons, which is the breakfast that will have line down the street. I like that too but I go at night when the burgers are $12.99 because they are 1/2 pound and would fill a Great Dane. This is not smash burger , it’s a huge patty that will test the limits of your jaw muscles when you open up to bit it. The bread is Mallorca ,,,,The fries are homemade and amazing. The service is Dominican style fast and friendly but the burger will take some time due to its size. They don’t believe in cooking it medium or anything like that. It’s worth the wait , top 3 burger in the area.

ACM_Nails 8.0: . The cheese sticks were good and so were the pastelillos. 🤷🏽‍♀️I doubt I’d ever go back. But again it could have been us. As for the atmosphere and service it was great.

Genevieve Ingal: Ismael was our server for our breakfast visit. He was very welcoming and accommodating. We had the El Messi, the breakfast French Toast sandwich. It was probably one of the best French Toast we have ever had. It was reminiscent of the Latino bread pudding...dense and just the right amount of sweetness! Definitely will br coming back!

C. L.: Such a cute place!! Excellent food and coffee. Highly recommend

Matt Buzzelli: One word : INCREDIBLE. Not only a fantastic spot for coffee and food but the owner was an incredible guy. Helped our group plan our trip and offered fantastic local cuisine and activities to do in the local area. If you are visiting the area you 100% need to give this place a chance. Will be returning when we come back to Puerto Rico. 10/10.

Josh Greenlee: Decided to stop in while passing down the street and so glad we did. Fantastic lattes and huevos rencheros. Rafa was one of the nicest people I ever met. Went out of his way to highlight his favorite places to visit while in Puerto Rico. Talked with us for over an hour. He takes such pride in his business and it shows in the food and coffee. It was awesome to meet such a genuine soul. Highly recommend! Hope we meet again soon, friend.

Alexa Boyd: This place was amazing. A perfect way to start the day here. The food was delicious. My partner had the Huevos Rancheros and I had the breakfast. He said the coffee was some of the best he's ever had. What made this place special were the people. Everyone was so excited to give recommendations. The owner spent 10 minutes telling us where to go and giving recommendations for the rest of our stay. We were so touched. A truly wonderful experience, we would love to come back.

Andrea Anderson: Good coffee and cute place! In terms of non-dairy milks, they didn’t have oat milk, but they had almond and soy.

David Protter: espresso. Really impressive sweetness and strong chocolate and berry notes. Low acidity and pleasant bitterness. My partner got iced coffees both times. They were a little on the strong side for both our tastes, but the flavor was great. Would have gone back for more if we were around longer!

Diego Palacios: The coffee, the ambiance, and the service was amazing. The food was also great, with the Pan de Calabaza being moist and sweet pairing perfectly with the Latte we ordered. The staff was friendly and patient while we fumbled to order our coffee and food. It was conveniently located close to where we stayed in Viejo San Juan. We plan to return as much as we can for the rest of our trip.

Brian Trees: was super cool, explained how rare and special their very own beans are. Totally agree. Had 8 oz triple americano, most delicious sugary sweet aroma of any coffee I’ve had, was light bodied and very juicy with faint dark chocolate undertones left on back of my tongue. Will probably return to bring some of their beans home with me. Plus their cafe is pretty cool and cozy, right next to the plaza steps in osj.

Dive Travel Fitness: Great little coffee shop in old San Juan. The coffee was good however I did not expect such a friendly staff.Estacionamiento: Very hard to park in old San Juan.

Tareq Haque: Ordered an iced latte. The man working suggested I get it without any flavor syrups to really taste the fresh coffee and to add brown sugar, which is kept at the counter and every table in cute jam jars. personally I like my coffee sweeter and like to try fun flavours but that being said, the latte was very good, the coffee had a good taste, not too bitter. Our Uber driver and multiple websites online suggested this place for authentic PR coffee. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming.Adecuado para niños: There are smoothies similar to virgin daiquiris that are very good
