Jim Earp: We were in San Juan again with Royal Caribbean. We had been to the cathedral before, and I really wanted to see it again. We walked, or I walked and my wife powered up the hill on her power wheelchair. It is a hike, but very neat if you can make it. It is about a mile and a half from the cruise port, all uphill. Not so bad but not easy either. Some tours will drop you at the top of the hill at the old fort, and you can walk back through old San Juan downhill. I was disappointed that I could not find a ramp to get my wife in, but I was glad to pop in and see this wonderful place again. If you are an early bird like we are, you won’t find much open, like restaurants, until later.

Luego comimos unos tacos increíbles en un restaurante local, ¡Stephen incluso pasó por un puesto de frutas local para comprarnos piñas frescas cultivadas localmente! Heidi Weber: The transportation was really nice! Cool and roomy the hot springs were nothing spectacular but they were a perfect activity for a halfway point. I loved the views and some of the flowers. They had snacks and drinks too. Then off for the rest of the journey. We learned a lot about the island and its history which I loved. When we got to the little bayside area to eat before heading out they fed us at a local dinner spot with the best tacos. We had the fish tacos which I highly recommend. After 3 tacos and drink we were happy and off to the boat. Unfortunately, it started to rain but everyone was scared to say anything for fear they would cancel. I loved how Steven and the Captains could read us and knew we wanted to go ahead if we could so off we went. They let us swim while the sun set which was absolutely beautiful. We kept seeing lighting off in the distance and hoped it would stay there but by the time we got to the place to swim at nightfall it was raining really hard and the lighting was really close. We only had a few minutes in the water and to be honest we only saw the bioluminescent very faintly but I did see it. Do I wish I saw more? Yes I do but Mother Nature had other plans that night. We received good food as part of the tour and had a stop at the hot springs. The captain, Frank, was also very kind and knowledgeable and made the boat ride to the bay a lot of fun. She shared lots of fun facts and demonstrations of some of Mother Nature’s treasures in the rainforest and elsewhere in Puerto Rico. He was never at a loss for information and was open to any and all questions. His high energy was welcome. The food and drinks along the tour were all delicious. 3 full size drinks during our 4 stops and dessert enjoyed at the end. Dietary restrictions were acknowledged as long as they are mentioned while booking the tour. Do not eat before this unless you have a big stomach. Between all the stops this could be your dinner. I enjoyed the tour and Pablo very much. Would definitely recommend.

Ali was even available by phone/text the morning of the tour when I had a question.History and historical sites: The tour was full of history about San Juan and Puerto Rico. It stopped at many sites of historical significance. You can see the importance the Puerto Rican people place in honoring their history. For example, I was struck by the monuments and art installations honoring Puerto Rican teachers and its location, right across from the Capitol.Sustainability: The tour pointed out many ways the people are protecting natural resources on the island.Beautiful locations: If you're interested in nature and places of natural beauty, this tour has much to offer.Non-touristy destinations: We stopped in Loiza and Pinones, the latter for a delicious lunch of authentic food.Hector, perhaps the best tour guide we have ever encountered: He is a MASTERFUL tour guide who did a magnificent job of teaching, establishing a great rapport with his passengers, and connecting various topics, sites, and subjects. Amanda Lehrian: I discovered this absolute gem after my GPS directed me outside the city walls to La Fortaleza! I found Bethzaida, who was the most incredible ambassador to PR! She not only personally helped me get an inside tour of Fortalaza, she told me about the oldest jail in San Juan in their courtyard and let me wander their halls to see their exhibits. Then she found out I was visiting other cities in PR and she followed up sending me emails about those areas! She was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and genuinely excited to share about this beautiful area!

Efrain Ortega: Trabaje en la concha de condado y me despidieron por queSupuestamente llegué tarde..Pero la realidad es que me querían callar la verdad del hotel..El sistema de incendio no funciona bien y hay más 20 habitaciones en el periodo de trabajo pude ver que no tienen el sistema en función correctamente..Además los sistemas de aire no son apropiadamente están en malas condiciones.. ya cuando vean este comentario ya habrán arreglado muchas cosas.. pero cuando el inspector va a revisar el hotel seleccionan una habitaciones que ya con tiempo arreglan y pasa inspección completa cuando las otras están en otras condiciones..Este país va de amigos del dinero.. si ocurre un incendio en una de las habitaciones y no está en función correctamente.. que pasaría!!!A las personas que toman su trabajo un seriamente y no por el salario los desprecian y asta los pisan.. si solo querremos que sea todo por la reglas..

Sunil Thomas: The tour was amazing and informative. Was a little concerned about doing a tour on a segway since we've never ridden one, but it was so much easier than it looks. After the training and the first ten minutes of the tour we were all experts.

Rene Guerra: Jose started us off with training on how to use a Segway which I found to be extremely helpful. It really paid off during the tour and I had no mishaps. Jose was an excellent tour guide and shared very interesting history about Puerto Rico during the tour. He took us to the major landmarks and others we would not have found or maybe overlooked. It took two hours when it could have taken at least 4-5 hours by foot and in the heat. We saved time, learned a lot, had fun, and had plenty of energy left for our next adventure. It was worth every dollar spent and highly recommended Jose and Segway Tours Puerto Rico.

P: Wow! What a great experience!!!I definitely recommend this to anyone visiting PR. Our guide was very informative and gave us the history on PR as well as some fun facts! Operating the Segway was tricky at first but after 5 minutes you get used to it. I recommend if you have a small backpack/cross body bag you bring it and pack water and sunscreen. The sun was beating on us the majority of the time.Because of booking and limited time slots we did this tour on our last day, but I would of loved to do this in the beginning of our trip.
