I’ve been to many “Japanese” restaurants where the cooks were Latin and just cooked by a book. Not here, the owner knows what he is doing because he is from Japan.My husband and I loved everything about this restaurant, we 100% recommend this above Silk and every other place in Puerto Rico.

andrea gonzalez: Este lugar es excelente!!! La comida espectacular y el servicio igualmente. Lo único que sí quisiera exhortarles a mejorar, y sè que es complicado pues el lugar es pequeño, es que si la mesa antes no ha terminado su cena pasados los 15 minutos “de gracia”, se acomode a los próximos en alguna mini area y/ó se les ofrezca poder pedir al menos algo de la barra. En varias ocasiones he tenido que esperar afuera 20+ minutos y en una de las ocasiones estaba lloviendo fuertemente con viento y uno de los empleados se negaba a dejarnos pasar y acomodarnos en una esquina. Es lo único porque de verdad que todo lo demàs es inmejorable! Ojalá continúen su èxito muchos años màs!
Imani Evans: I am obsessed with Yoko! I ate here with a group of 5 and it was everything! The ambiance and atmosphere were perfect, the service was incredible and the food was very memorable. The calamari with squid ink aioli was probably the best I’ve ever had and the sushi was top notch. Absolutely incredible experience.

Iva Juka: Where do I start… I recently dined at Yamiko in PR and was blown away by both the food and the service. Every dish was a bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The ingredients were fresh and expertly prepared, making each bite an absolute delight.The service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. We had Annie as a server. Annie was so knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and made us feel truly welcome.Overall, Yamiko in PR exceeded all my expectations. I can't wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience.
Jessica Durney: Huge roll menu with interesting and unconventional options. For around $90, my partner and I shared three huge rolls, four nigiri, and some dumplings. The rolls are so big and good tasting. The nigiri was really nice. But the dumplings were clearly just from a frozen bag bought from the store - not what I want or expect at a restaurant. We left very full.

Sheila Pérez: La comida excelente. Lo recomiendo. Hay variedad de opciones. Pedimos un bento box de pollo brocoli. Trajo arroz, pollo con brocoli, ensalada de lechuga y tomate, un rollo de vegetales y salsa de pato. El bento viene con una miso soup. Pedimos también un sushi roll de camarones con spicy crab llamado Top Kani. Adicional una piña colada. Todo delicioso. El lugar tiene estacionamiento y es espacioso.

Jessica: This place was so good I have to leave a review! They have a good selection of vegan sushi rolls and they were not only delicious but also good portion size. Highly recommend. I took it to-go and ate at the beach but it’s also a cute restaurant and the staff were very friendly.Platos vegetarianos: Great spot for vegans or vegetarians! They also asked me if I was ok with egg in the fried rice just to be sure.

I've been here like 3 times.Was a bit disappointed this time since I'm GF & Dairy free, so the majority of the rolls had cream cheese and panko bread or some sort of gluten on them. But we had two rolls, and one was really good. Staff is always nice.Restricciones de dieta: Things aren't marked on the menu for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or dairy free. That's something that always takes me time to figure out all the ingredients, and I have to keep asking over and over to the waitress. I found 2 rolls that were dairy free and gluten-free. Although you have to check the sauce since soy sauce and eel sauce have gluten. But spicy Mayo, I think, doesn't.

Paola Medrano: I have been coming for ages. I love sushi and always like trying other places but nothing like Hiro. Hiro is the best place for sushi in all PR. NO DOUBT. Have ordered plenty of times, always incredibly delicious and have never had a wrong order, even on busy days. They have amazing quality. If you want good sushi, come to Hiro. The only bad thing is that if you eat sushi elsewhere, you will be thinking “this doesn’t compare to Hiro”.

Michael Piekarski: Excellent quality and service, especially for the price.The General Tso’s chicken was the best I’ve had on the island by far. And the volcano roll was likewise delicious.Serving sizes were generous, and service was quick and friendly. Glad we stopped in. We will be back many more times in the future.

Dino Soriano Sr. FNP: Stumbled upon this place by accident and it’s as good as anything you’ll find stateside. The food is excellent service was excellent. They had my hot and sour soup which I my fan of. It is not my typical recipe, but it is very traditional and excellent. I had the black dragon roll in the volcano roll along with a seaweed salad with octopus, excellent highly recommend this place. You’re in the mood for sushi and anywhere on this side of the island. This is an excellent choice.
