Xavier Marzan: & Priscila the Manager was truly exceptional. This place is a must. This is service and dinning at its best! Compliments to the chefs & The hiring committee!

Colleen Specht: WOW, this didn’t disappoint! More of a fixed price menu than a tasting menu, as you got the option to select a starter, appetizer, entree and dessert of your choice, and they also provided a second appetizer of a white bean truffle soup. Wine pairings were offered. We found their wine list to be excellent and selected a bottle of Gigondas plus a glass of Sauvignon Blanc to start. The food was excellent from start to finish with a beautiful presentation for each dish. Servers were attentive and polished. We enjoyed our experience tremendously and would return to San Juan just to eat here!Definitely worth a visit if you’ve got time in Old San Juan.

Shekinah Mateo: An unforgettable anniversary celebration at Marmalade in Old San Juan 🌟 From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance set the stage for a night of culinary excellence. We were given a VIP table, enhancing our special day from the start. The staff, led by the wonderful Ilieane, treated us like royalty. Each team member made it a point to stop by our table, offering warm anniversary wishes which made us feel incredibly special. The dining experience itself was nothing short of spectacular. Each course was a revelation of deep flavors, freshness, and quality that we’ve not encountered anywhere else in Puerto Rico or during our travels. The portions were surprisingly generous for a tasting menu, each dish crafted like a piece of art, culminating in a beautifully decorated dessert complete with a ‘Happy Anniversary’ chocolate plate. To make the evening even more memorable, the chef and staff presented us with a hand-signed card, beautifully illustrated, capturing the essence of their heartfelt service.Marmalade isn’t just a meal; it’s a full sensory experience that you truly have to see, taste, and feel for yourself. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply want to indulge in some of the finest dining Puerto Rico has to offer, Marmalade is an absolute must. It was worth every moment saved for this special occasion.

J M: . Definitely a fine dining experience in terms of service level & food presentation. I was wowed with every dish! Their signature white bean soup was OUT OF THIS WORLD. The floor manager

Ivan H: Amazing experience. The waiter from Chicago was fantastic. Food was amazing. Recommendations from the waiter were perfect.

J M: . I didn't have a reservation and was seated immediately. The risotto was absolutely delicious, as was the pumpkin soup. I honestly felt transported back to Venice, Italy with the simple yet elegant decor. Two thumbs up, treat yourself to a delicious meal and enjoy the top-notch treatment from the fabulous servers!

Devlyn Bodden: , was the acidity of some of the sauces. For example, the acidity in the ginger and turmeric sauce for the pastel overwhelms the flavors, and the pastel soaks up too much of it. Also, the acidity in the crudo, although expected in the dish, was too potent, making the experience of eating it a bit unpleasant. In the roasted fish

Ricardo Castro: Great food. Really creative Chef. Will visit again. Service was great too!! 4 🌟 because dessert needed help. Besides that, great!!Thanks Chef for your creativity!!! Keep representing Puerto Rico 🇵🇷.

Sebastián Rea: This place is spectacular. A restaurant with heart, soul, and purpose. The food is unique and delicious. The staff and service all made me feel like I was family. I came for the food and left with an experience. If you are in San Juan, you must check this place out. I came multiple times while I was on vacation because I wanted to try everything on the menu. And don't get me started on the drinks! Simply amazing! More restaurants should take notes about how this place does business because they could learn a thing or too. Trust me, you won't be disappointed here. Platos vegetarianos: Many vegan options

Tomás B.: and the beef stake were extremely salty

Michael Donnelly: Incredible locally sourced food, impeccably crafted drinks, and friendly service. What more could you ask for?

M- T-: I couldn’t possibly highly recommend this place enough. Must try in PR! Definitely recommend the tasting experience! The waiter with the curly mustache is so attentive and kind! I’ve brought many people here and they are always wowed by the experience. Excellent date or celebratory dinner spot! I would say maybe even consider for a Michelin star

Selin G: Absolutely delightful experience that makes you get to know Puerto Rico by food. All the food is locally sourced and every meal is explained to us by the sous chef as she was serving it. We had the wine pairing along with both the vegetarian and the omnivorous option. There were four food acts and a dessert act, each and every single one very special and well thought. The food was very simple but layered with so many textures at times. The restaurant is located in a beautiful area and has a very cozy and friendly environment. This place really enhanced our experience in Puerto Rico, must eat here!

Michael Piekarski: My expectations weren’t high as I have been disappointed many times before in Puerto Rico dining spots. I was very pleasantly surprised. The filet mignon was excellently seasoned and perfectly cooked. And the calamari was some of the best I have had in a while. The drinks were likewise excellent.Everything was a bit pricey, and the service a bit slow, but the food quality more than made up for it. We’ll be back.

Mena K: Serafina in San Juan offers was a delightful dining experience with its vibrant ambiance and delicious menu. We enjoyed a fantastic gluten-free aglio olio pasta and it also had pizza options, making it a perfect choice for people with dietary restrictions. I also appreciated the stylish decor, music and lively atmosphere, which enhanced the overall dining experience.

Chris: OMG...I stopped here for a quick snack and beer but decided to eat... my entire meal was delicious. Staff was extremely friendly, and the place is just a real chill vibe. I see people speak about seating groups...literally if you walk in you will see the place may not be able to hold more than one large group inside. But they will try their best to accommodate you. Definitely recommend. 10/10

Dustin Southway: Located in the historic Cuartel de Ballajá, the restaurant offers a charming atmosphere with its beautiful courtyard setting. The service was friendly and, although there were moments when it seemed a bit slow, likely due to it being a busy day. Despite this, the staff were courteous and made sure we had everything we needed.Overall, Rincón Ibérico is a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy a taste of Spain in Puerto Rico.

John Jagneaux: ¡Wow solo wow!

Wayne Jentis: , and the burrata salad was equally enjoyable and the generous sampling of bruschetta were equally enjoyable appetizers. The lamb chops were top notch, the pasta special with ribeye was delicious as were the gnocchi. The dessert to have was the light, moist and tasty tres leches. The next time in San Juan, we will definitely be back.

Jaime Murray: This place is absolutely amazing, this is coming from Italian South Philly family who really knows Italian food. It is a small intimate place so make reservations, they even brought me out a candle with whipped cream to wish me a happy birthday!Again this is some of the best food we have had yet on vacation! I’m looking forward to authentic Puerto Rican Cuisine but for my birthday this chef nailed Italian!

Matthew Ortiz: Edgardo, was the best server I have had since I moved here 4 months ago, his knowledge about the menu was impressive yet impeccable, I’m so glad we stumbled this little restaurant tonight, the pasta was phenomenal out of this world! I’m a sucker for expresso martinis and so far this has been the best expresso martini I have had in my whole life, and I lived in NYC. the service, the atmosphere and service was the best compared to carbone in NYC. I’m obsessed, this was the best experience so far in PR. Come visit its worth every penny and cent. The bartender Angelica was also a beast!!!Update: just had the manchego cheese flan and Jesus I’m not sure if I will survive if I don’t have this again! This was astonishing! I’m so happy!!!

Valek: Located in the heart of Old San Juan, this intimate Italian restaurant ranks among the finest dining establishments in the area. With just a few tables, the cozy space often fills quickly, so reservations are highly recommended to secure a spot. The service is very attentive, and the staff is friendly. The food is fantastic. For starters, the Bruschetta Platter, which offered six toasts topped with a variety of delicious options - my favorite was the one with eggplant. Moving on to the main course, the Fettuccine alla Boscaiola was a highlight, boasting a rich and flavorful sauce paired with a generous portion of pasta. The risotto, while enjoyable, was not on the same level of excellence as the fettuccine. They have some house cocktails; I tried their signature drink, the Flor de Bacaro, which was refreshing and simple. For dessert, the Tiramisu was a perfect, mouthwatering end to the meal. They accept credit cards, and as with most of Old San Juan, parking can be a challenge. Opt for nearby paid parking to ensure a hassle-free visit.

Sheela Satpute: Perfect spot for a special occasion. Beautiful ambiance and lighting. The service was definitely very kind and accommodating, however would have liked to have each course explained as it was delivered. I felt that it’s possible I got the wrong dessert - it tasted like lemon custard and not the Panna cotta I had ordered. For this price point, I don’t think this is acceptable. The servers tried their hardest to overcome these issues by giving us extra sweets etc. 2 huge high points: the old fashioned cocktail was the best I have ever had. Pasta tasted very fresh and cooked perfectly. Otherwise, I can’t say that the dishes were consistently amazing. Nothing that I would look back on fondly aside from my cocktail.

Big Country Sound: This is the single best and most memorable eating experience I've ever had. Chef Carlos is a true artist and his small team achieved extremely impressive stuff. I was continually amazed by all aspects of the experience, and as the meal went on I realized that not only is it a culinary experience, the whole curation of everything is like a piece of performance art.Purposefully slow - where else does that happen? Slow down and think about life. You will not go hungry but you will have plenty of time to enjoy the company of your loved ones or just chat with the amazing Carlos. I was nervous to go into the kitchen at first but once he brought me in there himself the experience really opened up - incredibly welcoming, informative, and entertaining. Also had a couple of the best wines I've ever had, I would absolutely urge you to go for the wine pairing as well.A cannot-miss experience if you're, in Carlos' words, a gastronomic traveller. I think about that night regularly and its been 4 months.

Liha Sanchez: From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we knew we were in for a unique dining adventure. This experience was nothing short of spectacular. We were treated to over 20 exquisite courses. Each dish was a masterpiece, showcasing an incredible range of techniques and local flavors. What truly elevated the experience was the chef, Carlos Portela, himself personally serving and explaining several of the courses, adding a personal touch that made the evening even more special. The wine pairing was equally exceptional. The selections perfectly complemented each course, enhancing the flavors and creating a harmonious balance.Dining at Orujo is more than just a meal; it’s an experience. The thoughtful progression of courses, the engaging atmosphere, and the seamless service come together to create a night to remember. This is a journey through culinary artistry, worthy of every accolade and deserving of its five-star reputation.

Gabriel Hernandez: For an extraordinary dining experience in Puerto Rico, Orujo, led by the talented Chef Carlos, is a hidden gem that should not be missed. This exclusive restaurant offers over 20-course that is a true testament to culinary artistry.Chef Carlos masterfully blends local ingredients with innovative techniques, crafting each course to be a memorable experience for your palate. The attention to detail, from presentation to flavor combinations, ensures that every dish tells a story and takes you on a gastronomic journey. While Orujo is on the pricier side, the value you receive is exceptional. The 20-course meal is not just dinner—it’s a culinary adventure that showcases the best of Puerto Rican cuisine in a refined and intimate setting. If you’re looking to treat yourself to an unforgettable night out, Orujo is the perfect choice.

Abi VerValin: Not just a meal but a truly exquisite dining experience! Our chefs lead us through a spectacular menu and wine tasting — the plates had such a variety of tastes and textures, and the presentation was a feast for the eyes. We appreciated the subtlety of the dishes, the fresh local ingredients, and that we were invited into the kitchen to learn how it all came together. The setting is intimate which enhanced the meal and it was interesting to hear about a variety of wines as well. Thank you to the chefs!

Eliza Hecht: . No te arrepentirás.

Pedro: Experiencia unica. Worth every penny.

¡¡Vale la pena el dinero!! john guevara: Valet parking makes it easy to get in and out. A security guard makes sure traffic is clear before you leave the valet. The service is quick and knowledgeable. Wine is fairly priced and there’s an excellent selection. The pizza is crispy and loaded with toppings. The chicken empanadas I don’t care for. The steaks are perfectly season and cooked. Deserts if you have room are yummy.Estacionamiento: Great valet

JOSE JUAN CARDONA DIAZ: A gastronomic journey in the mouth. The risotto, a restaurant's creation, is exquisite. A great melt in a mouth. The lemon tart is well baked and tasty. Each bite is filled with an explosion of flavours.

Pablo Baez: Casual restaurant with very well prepared dishes, their pasta is specially good since it is always al dente a well made sauce very flavorful but not overpowering so as to kill the dish. The appetizers are also delicious particularly their pizzetta and the burrata which is always fresh.Service is friendly and prompt .The restaurant is indeed an osteria on Loíza street
