The pool staff was great - providing treats to guests while they enjoyed the pool. Breakfast buffet was great. In room amenities are great. Jeff Ramsey: I looked at many Google reviews before our visit. I would like to say thanks for all your help. We met up with friends at Condado Vanderbilt to celebrate our birthdays. Let me say booking thru my AMEX Platinum card was a great deal. Breakfast buffet for two daily. Ends around 11 am daily. The value alone for the buffet for two was $100.00. Plus we were able to check in at Noon, if available. We couldn't as our room wasn't ready. Late check out at 4pm. Plust $125.00 resort credit to use for food or drink. We had a Commodore Ocean Front suite which was very nice. Two balconies. PLUS, we had our own butler. Enma, our butler was FANTASTIC!! He emailed me a few days before our trip letting us know he would be our butler and asked if we needed any help. I asked for him to help us arrange ground transportation to and from airport. NOTE, BAHIA Transportation was nice, etc. but was expensive. $110.00 to the Hotel which was about a 15 min ride. Our driver did not lift one finger to help me with my luggage, which we had two large suitcases and two carry ons. I pulled my back the day before so this wasn't good. I asked Enma after arriving to cancel our ride back and got an UBER Black to take us back at the cost of $24.00. Would recommend UBER Black for transportation. Anyway, back to hotel. The staff was so GREAT!! I mean best staff anywhere we have stayed. We have stayed at many fine hotels, Ritz, Intercontinental, Willard in DC,etc. They didn't have no in their vocabulary. When we celebrated my birthday on a Saturday, my wife reached out to Enma, our butler for help. He set up the room while we were at the pool with a bday cake, balloons, plates for charcuterie board my wife wanted to prepare, 8 champagne glasses, as well as a bottle of champagne on ice!!! I didn't see any charge either on my bill for all this. My wife wanted to tip him specifically for this occasion, so she found him and gave him a tip. Victor, working the entrance area of hotel was spectacular. Made sure to greet me by name every time we entered or left hotel. Paiulo, hostess in buffet was so great in making sure we got what we needed in the restaurant where the buffet was. Amid made spectacular omelets for us at the omelet station. Enma, our butler was very instrumental in checking in during our stay seeing how were were doing via text. Like having your own assistant. He was very helpful giving us ideas on restaurants of what we were looking for, then he would call and make our reservations for us and confirm back to me time, etc. Ropa Vieja was one of our favorites. Tayzan, Chinese, Sushi, and PR food was not great. I would not go back. Serafina, next door to CVH was awesome as well. Great walking distance to Marriott Stellaris Casino. LaConcha Casino didn't do it for us. Highly recommend the walk to Stellaris. Also, there is a market right across the street called H & R Food and Liquors that has a quite a bit of selection of liquor/beer, as well as food items and prepared food such as sandwiches prepackaged. We had a nice sub zero smaller fridge in our room as well as a nice ice maker. Nespresso type machine that uses the pods which were provided. Alto Grando was the pods of choice. The cigar lounge was quite small as I generally sat outside to smoke a cigar once in a while. Tacos and Tequila was good as well. They gave me and my wife both a margarita on the day of my birthday. The pool drinks were awesome. Condado Express was our favorite. Medalla Beer is awesome as well. Low carb with great taste. Airport Duty Free Store sells liquor, beer, and coffee on your way out so you can take home some treasures. Alto Grande coffee was our favorite. Again, CVH was spectacular stay. We want to go back again soon. Knowing what we know now, wouldn't change a thing. Was so relaxing and again, STAFF WAS SPECTACULAR!!!

Brian Flynn: After a rough start . We lost electricity on the first night, and it never came back on . I believe her name was Allison, and she was outstanding. She moved us to an updated unit that was amazing. She was so sweet and concerned over our situation that she truly made us feel like we were her only concern even though there were other customers that were having the same problem. Hats off to Allison at the front desk. You are a super star 🌟

Mercedes Pons: Estamos por 2 noches. Está muy, muy bien ubicado en el viejo San Juan. A poca distancia de restaurantes, vida nocturna y sitios históricos.El desayuno no está incluido, pero es muy bueno. Me encantó el café con leche y el desayuno Pasia tenía unas arepas deliciosas.En la azotea hay una bonita piscina con asientos para relajarse y hermosas vistas.Uber desde el aeropuerto costó alrededor de $ 25 y realmente estoy disfrutando mi tiempo aquí.Habitaciones: Las habitaciones son muy espaciosas con cocina, aire acondicionado, TV. Teníamos un dormitorio con cama king. Y en el salón había un sofá cama que usábamos para mi hijo. Sólo un baño en el dormitorio. Funcionó para nosotros porque todos somos familia.

Kristian Alwill: Hotel El Convento is an absolutely can’t miss property. each space has a personality all its own from the grand courtyard to tucked away reading nooks and a breathtaking plunge pool. This property is sure to inject your trip to San Juan with a one of a kind energy.The location within old San Juan can’t be beat as you can walk easily to everything and enjoy everything the area has to offer.Rooms aren’t super grand but they were clean and updated.I wish I could give this property 5 stars but when I went to use the gym there appeared to be some flooding mixed with loose electrical wires and plugged in gym equipment. This definitely made me uneasy.

Si San Juan es cautivador y maravilloso, alojarse en un sitio así multiplica el sabor de la estancia. Frente a la catedral, muy cerca del malecón antiguo de la fortaleza, junto a las mirallas, cerca de San Felipe del Morro... el lugar es fantástico.El edificio está reformado. Tiene un patio interior para descansar, muy. coqueto y asistido por una barra, dispone de un gran salón que fue la antigua iglesia del convento, Las habitaciones son amplias y prácticas, sin perder la atmosfera del conjunto, dan mayoritariamente al patio interior.La azotea es un lugar estupendo, con una pequeña piscina y unas vistas impresionantes sobre todo el conjunto de la ciudad.Frente a él, lugares para estar, restaurantes, comercio, etc. Como pasa en el Viejo San Juan, el acceso en carro es algo problemático. También algún problema de accesibilidad, ojo a personas con problemas de movilidad.Si tiene una pega es el servicio, que lo hemos visto escaso.Muy recomendable.

JOSEPHINE AND ALL THE Housekeepers were exceptionally cleaned. If this review was 10 you got my 10, however to me you are more than 5 stars; you all made me fall in love with San Juan Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 You were all so kind, joyful, sweet, caring, and you made a difference in my life. Emily Morrison: We loved staying here. It had everything we needed for restful nights after busy days. Our room was clean, quiet, and felt elevated from more corporate hotels. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location couldn’t be better. It’s very close to restaurants, bar, coffee shops. The plunge pool is nice and they have a complimentary wine hour. We never ended up eating at their restaurant but it’s in a nice closed in courtyard. We’d stay here again for sure.

Jennifer Zapata: Great hotel close to restaurants, beach nice pool. The room was a living room w sofa bed and a bedroom w 2 full beds. Very comfy. Had everything we needed. The bathrooms do need updating as they are doing. I paid more for a top level room and thought would have the renovated one. That was upsetting. Good breakfast, not great but included. Wish parking was less but it was convenient. Customer service was great and happy hour too.

Lisa Quach: Stayed in Room 1111 mid-July. The room had 2 double beds. Bathroom tub could use an upgrade but everything else was clean. The balcony was private and the oceanfront room had an amazing view. Housekeeping came everyday:For elite members, you can go next to the lobby to get water, soda, chips during the day from concierge. You can choose between points or breakfast coupon… the coupon is for the buffet at the restaurant next to the pool area. There is an omelet bar, fruits, meats & cheese, pastries, bacon, sausage, quinoa, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, and some other things… it’s not like an all-inclusive resort breakfast but it was not bad at all. Included mimosas. On Friday night, there was also a cocktail hour event for elite members in the lobby/bar. They provided small items as sliders and desserts. Parking for elite members is also reduced. The valet parking guys are soooo nice!They have a schedule of events such as movie night or s’mores…The staff was wonderful. They gave me a small bottle of wine in a gift bag when I mentioned it was my birthday.The casino bar is open until 3am and Angel is one of the best bartenders ever. Makes a really good Miami Vice too! They will give you $30 “match” coupon… go to service desk and they’ll give you what looks like Monopoly money and you can use with your cash to make a bet… gotta spend money to make money.Location: nearby restaurants… there’s a variety within walking distance… for late night, dulce la vida and the spot next door is open until 4am… there is also a Walgreens and 24hour store next the hotel so you can always buy what you need… including liquor. They stop selling liquor at 2am!There are people on the beach to set up chairs for you. You can order food and they’ll bring it to you. Card or Room charge only. There’s also a guy who sells these pineapple slush things inside a pineapple, it’s $20 with liquor and completely worth it!!!Would only stay here if I came back to PR.

Celebrando 30 años con mi Hermosa Reina, pasamos un tiempo fabuloso, el SVC fue excelente, el acceso a la playa fue increíble con protección de seguridad, lo cual fue bueno ver que tenían todas las comodidades que se publicaron... Solo 1 inconveniente Registro RETRASADO . Pero definitivamente volveremos a visitarlo.

Brandon Cleaver: Outstanding experience. The staff was completely awesome. There were a few minor things that came up. But was well overlooked. I wish I remembered everyone’s name who helped. My only complaint was eating outside for breakfast, was a bad experience especially for the price, but they have a bakery inside which I do recommend. They gave us an oceanfront upgrade. That was very much appreciated. Overall amazing experience. One thing that is undeniable was the housekeeping service was outstanding. Absolute kudos to the housekeeping team. The hotel felt very clean and safe!

Tiffani Brown: My parents and I had an excellent dinner at Cana restaurant. The best meal of our 5 day vacation in Puerto Rico! Felix was our server and made us feel like family. He provided such warm service and made great meal suggestions. We had a relaxed dinner by the beach and stayed until closing. Never felt rushed and will be back for breakfast!

She was so sweet and kind. Olga did all she could to make us feel comfortable and at home. We were very blessed to have amazing people taking care of us. Mara, another staff member took care of us like family. This was our kids’ first time in Puerto Rico. They will have these wonderful memories forever.

El personal tiene un cuidado maravilloso y es extremadamente servicial, especialmente los gerentes Annika y Romie. Cada habitación tiene su propio estilo individual. Muy cómodo y me encantaron las hamacas. Perfecto para relajarse y meditar. El hotel está situado junto a la playa ya sólo 10 minutos del Viejo San Juan y del aeropuerto. Súper conveniente. Si buscas una escapada tranquila para conectarte contigo mismo o con tu ser querido. ¡Muy recomendado! Siento el trato de Reina cada vez que me quedo en Dreamcatcher. El equipo se adaptará a sus necesidades con su increíble hospitalidad. Este es un lugar especial para mí para retirarme o enseñar mis retiros de bienestar. Me encanta poder trabajar virtualmente y aún viajar a este lugar mágico en mi hermosa isla de Puerto Rico. David Njoroge: Alojarnos en el hotel Dreamcatcher fue nada menos que un sueño para mi esposa y para mí en nuestro viaje de aniversario en julio. La intencionalidad y el pensamiento al diseñar el hotel son impresionantes. El vecindario también se siente muy seguro como turista para hospedarse y tener libertad para explorar otro gran lugar en la isla. Para un hotel de 3 estrellas, este lugar te dejará boquiabierto. Miguel en recepción nos dio un servicio 10/10. ¡Definitivamente planeo volver!

Jessi Medina: This location is amazing. The whole vibe of the Dreamcatcher is top tier. Beautiful rooms, awesome location within walking distance of the beach and plenty of spectacular dining options. The experiences we booked through the Dreamcatcher were also great. We booked a rainforest hike, a massage, and a snorkeling trip and each of them were perfect. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The chefs also make amazing breakfast options if you don't feel like heading into town and getting breakfast.

Will de la: Los muchachos reservan este lugar con su novia/esposa, les encantará.Las sillas y toallas de playa son una ventaja ya que está a una cuadra de la playa. El lugar tiene un ambiente de selva tropical, mucha vegetación. Las hamacas eran impresionantes.

Citlalli G.: Staying here was a dream! The service and location cannot be beat. I loved the proximity to the beach. The room itself with comfy enough for 2 people to share. Our room had an outdoor shower that was so fun! There are about 3-5 different breakfast spots within 2 blocks that were so nice to be able to access. I felt safe the entire time I stayed here and would definitely stay here again!

Michael DiNunzio: The place is located in a gated community but this area is very clean and organized. The surrounding areas is safe like all PR. The beach is 1 min down the street the place gives you chairs and towels. The only issue we had was the AC wasn't working when we got there. They did fix with no problems things do happen. The young lady at night she is very nice and helpful with a great attitude.Parking is on the street so be ready to find a spot. Plenty of restaurants and things to do around this place.Get out of San juan and enjoy the views especially the caves.One thing they do their own trips to the rainforest and Giovanni is the best. He took us through the rivers and we got to do a concert in his vehicle that me and my wife will never forget. Thanks for that experience. He took us to amazing restaurant after our trip.Comidas y bebidas: Hundred of restaurants in walking distance and the neighborhood is safe at night and it's alive.

Erik Razo: super blue lights light up in the pool with a massive lions head water fall .Beach 10/0It’s located right in the back of the hotel , so the beach is on your location which means you barley have to walk from your hotel to the beach . Man it was white sand warm water clear as can be . I will be back there asap .

Esther Millan: Mi mejor amigo y yo siempre nos hospedamos en The Ritz Carlton en Isla Verde. El personal está muy dispuesto a complacerlo y tratarlo como a la realeza. Las habitaciones están muy limpias y el personal de limpieza es rápido con cualquier petición que tengas. El personal de la piscina está listo para traerle cualquier pedido rápidamente.Me entristeció mucho cuando el huracán María destruyó el hotel por completo y les llevó algunos años reconstruirlo a la perfección. Aunque todavía hay una pandemia en progreso, me encantaría hacer planes para visitar Puerto Rico y quedarme en mi hotel favorito una vez más.❤

itsalljones: This is a great place.. Location was wonderful .. right on the beach.. beautiful views.. Service was as expected.. and the beds were very comfortable.. I had difficulty with the in room coffee pot.. and was a little disappointed that the balcony didn't have room for a chair.. and we parked in a lot across the street . We used some reward points to pay for 3 day stay.. So the minor inconveniences weren't a big deal.. Though, if I had paid the regular price with cash, I might have been a little ticked, lol . Otherwise, it's a great place and you won't be disappointed.Seguridad: Was concerned about parking across street, but had no issues.. and didn't feel at all uncomfortablePosibilidad de caminar: Really in the middle of everything.. you can easily walk down the beach, and back up the streets.. J Roland: This hotel is great for a girls trip, a romantic getaway, or even for a family trip. The hotel is situated close to several convenience, stores and chain restaurants. The pool is large and has several shaded areas and the beach offers, complementary chair and umbrellas for guest as they arrive. The food at the bar and at the on-site restaurant may not be the best you’ll get in San Juan, but it’ll do the job before you head out to get some of the local fare!

Aimee Sanfilippo: It's a really nice hotel. But the front desk customer service was not at all up to par for the quality of hotel. The rest of the staff was great, the pool bar staff, the trolley drivers, the cleaning staff, and the restaurant staff was great. I would choose another hotel and see how it goes before staying there again based on the front desk staff. They were the least helpful when it came to checking in and even worse when we had family come to visit us for the day at the hotel.Habitaciones: The room was clean, plenty of plugs for charging your devices, and well stocked in the bathroom for toiletries.Comidas y bebidas: The drinks were great at the pool bar! The steakhouse on site was amazing and our waiter was amazing.
