Sam: was very helpful and amazing, and I believe its owned by her and her parter,, BIPOC businesses FTW, nome of that american corporations and gentrification,, and the room we shared was comfortable, with light sheets and towels provided for every bed. The man upstairs from us was arrested by the FBI in front of me, and it was really scary, but I dont blame the hostel people for that. Stay here, and leave a nice tip, these people deserve it.

Sherif Azmy: The hostel is located in a very nice neighborhood with a lot of food places and cafes around. There is a bar right across the street which has good drinks and vibes. The staff is absolutely amazing and extremely helpful and friendly, with a lot of good recommendations of things to do and places to go. It is a very social hostel, I travelled solo and I met so many great people and made amazing memories. The hostel also organizes outings every night almost to get you to explore the city and bond with the other people staying in the hostel. Great vibes all across the board

Emily Adams: I had a wonderful experience at this hostel! The rooms have their own bathroom, the staff are excellent, there is a very nice rooftop hangout area with hammocks and a great view, and it’s super social! I hadn’t even finished checking in when a group walked by and asked if I wanted to go to dinner with them and I made friends with every person staying there at the same time as me. They also organize activities and tours such as trips to el yunque and salsa dance lessons. Truly a great safe and fun way to experience San Juan.Actividades cerca de mi ubicación: Within walking distance of a beach and the food park, a short drive from many beaches, guided tours, and night life options such as old San Juan and district t mobile.Seguridad: Felt completely very safe walking around, because there is a bar on the street there are always lots of people around until late in the night so if you’re alone you don’t have to worry about walking alone. Additionally since it’s a very social hostel many people will be willing to go somewhere with you so you don’t have to go alone. Rubén Vélez: Un lugar espectacular, todo muy bien restaurado, Daniel Del Valle el dueño es muy atento y simpático. Tuve la oprtunidad de coversar sobre la historia del local. Son impresionantes las restauraciones en las lámparas, el techo, las habitaciones los muebles. En general la van a pasar muy bien, definitivamente regresaré.Actividades cerca de mi ubicación: Todo está a poca distancia a pie.

Marilyn Gould: Mi acogedora habitación con vista al mar frente a San Christobel. Muchas cafeterías, restaurantes y bares están cerca.El bnb es precioso. Lo recomiendo totalmente y tiene una excelente relación calidad-precio en Airbnb. Pequeña escalera de caracol hasta la habitación. Así que no es apto para discapacitados, sino más bien una escapada romántica.

Luis Diaz: Me alojé del 4 al 7 de julio, excelente ubicación...un lugar bastante tranquilo, necesita un poco de actualización.

Melody Dunn: Me encantaría quedarme aquí de nuevo. Vale la pena subir hasta lo alto de las escaleras. Nuestra suite tenía dos habitaciones con camas tamaño queen cuando entrabas, además de un baño y una cocina completa. Luego salías al balcón central y había dos habitaciones más con camas tamaño queen y un baño. Las camas eran súper cómodas. Se nos fue la luz mientras estábamos allí porque alguien prendió fuego a una subestación eléctrica. Por suerte teníamos reservaciones para un restaurante que tenía generador. Y cuando regresamos teníamos nuestras propias linternas y jugábamos a las cartas contra la humanidad en la oscuridad. La electricidad volvió a funcionar a medianoche. Tampoco tuve ningún problema para tomar una ducha caliente.

LYVICK PEREZ: y un espacioso loft arriba. Los techos tenían vigas de madera, ¡era tan agradable! Tuvimos un problema para registrarnos, así que ASEGÚRESE de llamar con anticipación y asegurarse de que su reserva esté allí. ¡Tuvimos que esperar afuera hasta que aclararon todo! Fueron muy educados y profesionales, ¡pero fue un desastre! ¡Finalmente teníamos nuestra habitación!

We researched and decided to give Old San Juan Rentals a try. From the moment we booked our room until after we left, it was the BEST experience! Our contact person was extremely responsive, she left detailed instructions, I needed additional assistance and the owner made things happen for me instantly, our room was VERY clean, and after we checked out to go on our cruise, the owner extended additional assistance that would help make our entire experience better, when she didn't have to.
