Sly Rob: Another awesome visit today there. In a cruise and always make sure we go there each time. Great beers & food and the staff are wonderful! Will be back Sept 30 on another cruise and looking forward to going back. The best Fish Tacos and Blistered Shishito Peppers. Joey & Matt are great. Know them for many years now and got to meet the manager today - Salina. Mentioned to a couple on our cruise to check it out and they did. They were amazed by the place!

Robert Moore: Amazing beer bar. Great vibe, aesthetic, and selection. Rivaled the selection of any beer-specializing place I've been, with delicious beer and rare styles available. Service is casual and friendly. Only real asterix is that nighttime and daytime are two entirely different feels - daytime is relaxed shady drinking with ceiling fans; nighttime is a line and a bouncer. We preferred daytime.
Marco Gonzalez: I’m a huge craft beer fan, and before my trip to Puerto Rico, I looked up local craft beer spots. This place immediately caught my attention, and we decided to visit on our first night. Wow, it was amazing! If you love craft beer, you need to check it out.They not only carry a wide variety of local brews, but they also have a fantastic draft list featuring breweries from the U.S. I was pleasantly surprised to see Jester King from Austin, Texas, on their list. My girlfriend and I loved it so much that we visited every night during our stay in Puerto Rico. The place has a great vibe, and the bartenders were incredibly cool and helpful when it came to trying local beers. Shout out to Joshua, Hector, and Jeff for being the coolest bartenders on the island.The owners clearly take pride in this place, and it shows. It’s a great spot to hang out and explore local beers.

Ire Gomez: I loved this place. The DJ Tato had an amazing control of the atmosphere , the Karaoke and selection of music was extraordinary and his personality was exceptional. Prices were not cheap but they have a happy hour at least for Thursday $5.00 beer. The nachos with ropa vieja and mozzarella stick was really good. Wheelchair accessibility and kid friendly spot. A lot of parking and security.

Victor Bonilla-Rodriguez: This is a unique place in Calle Loiza. The names and information of all available beers are posted on the wall behind the service counter. If not sure, ask the servers. They are friendly, courteous, and know all there is to know about the beers they sell. If you want to sample a selection of beers, ask for a beer flight. And do not pass the opportunity to try the food. I had the hummus and the croquetas. They are unique and full of flavor. Parking is on the street, so try to avoid peak traffic hours.

Teníamos el benedict de cerdo desmenuzado y la pizzetta de desayuno, junto con mimosas ilimitadas por $ 35 por persona y todo lo que tengo que decir es, ¡guau! Los huevos estaban perfectamente cocinados, nuestra camarera, Paola, brindó un servicio fantástico y se aseguró de que nuestras mimosas fueran realmente infinitas. ¡Definitivamente regresaré para probar su menú habitual y otras selecciones de cerveza!

Taylor Krankowski: Cool punk bar in Old San Juan with graffiti and stickers littering the walls. Love the bar cat and diorama someone made of the bar itself inside. Not a huge drink list, but you're there for the vibe anyway. They have a pool table in back and let you smoke at the bar... which is great if you're a smoker and sucks if you aren't, so chose your own adventure!

Louis Rosas-Guyon: We stopped for a quick drink and a small snack in the afternoon heat. After walking about 10 miles, we needed a break, and this little watering hole was the perfect respite. While we sat, we enjoyed watching an older man stand out on the sidewalk playing a drum and trying to bring customers inside. Beautiful views, cold beer, and fun is what you'll find at La Verguenza.
D D: We liked the food and location. We ate in the alley tables. The only not so good feeling is that they didn't let us eat inside. They have someone letting people pass to the second floor. I was with my two teen boys. I don't know if it is because there is liquor up there. If so, it is good, but if it is because we were a family not a group of grown ups hanging out, then they should advertise themselves as cantina or something like it, not as restaurant....then obviously I won't even consider them for starters.

Povilas Mikulevicius: This is an Old San Juan party central!There are few bars in different settings, most people were on the salsa dance floor. That room was busy. We mostly stayed on EDM dance floor. DJ played really good mixes, it was banging!!! That also got really busy. Get two drinks at once! Last bar is the quietest and can just have a drink and chill, and the exit is there too. ☆☆☆☆
Carolyn Julien: were fantastic they have a true art for making drinks but Gabriel was our favorite. Watching them making different drinks with such passion was entertaining all on its own but then the fact there are 4 different bars in 1 location that you can bounce back and forth through, the whole ambiance was amazing you can be dressed up or completely casual and comfortable and be accepted either way. I can’t wait to go back!!

We decided to change our plans and have dinner here, and it did not disappoint.The menu was simple, featuring just four types of empanadas and a great selection of local craft beer, along with a cocktail menu. We ordered one of each empanada, and I asked the waiter to surprise me with a local beer.Despite the simplicity, the empanadas were heavenly. Paired with their mango pineapple hot sauce, the flavors were on another level. We loved it so much that we returned three nights in a row!The staff was incredibly friendly and personable, and every beer they recommended was a winner. If you find yourself in Old San Juan, you need to stop by this place. I'm definitely going to miss those empanadas and that hot sauce.
