sharon k: Shalomir is an excellent guide! It’s hard to believe she only started giving tours a few months ago. She is super knowledgeable and a great communicator. She did a fabulous job attending to the needs of all 12 people on our rainforest hike, even though we were different ages and moved at different speeds. Due to the rain, she was able to pivot and come up with an alternative plan at a nearby beach, instead of having us swim in the river due to the threat of flash floods. I highly recommend this tour. It was enjoyable and economical.

katherin stairs: My mom and I took a trip to El Yunque Rainforest. It was an incredible experience. There was a few changes to the tour but all the changes were communicated in a very clear and prompt manner so that there was no confusion. Our tour guide Hector was awesome-very knowledgeable and funny! The company ensured that any substitutions that were made were still to expectation and at the end they followed up. My impression is that this is a great company with very nice, courteous people.

The hike was easy with several stops along the way to learn about the area, plants and animals. This rainforest has nothing poisonous, we saw birds, snails, lizards and of course bugs. I highly recommend this tour.

Aline Arewa: I highly recommend this tour, we had a great time! We did 7 ziplines & the Beast, which apparently the Monster is most popular as it’s half a mile longer, super fun either way. You could upgrade at the place if you change your mind and want to do all of them.The Ziplines at Toro Verde were amazing and fun. I’d recommend wearing pants or leggings otherwise the bands will dig into your legs. Also wear tennis shoes as when you walk from one zip line to another the trail can get pretty steep. I wore white tennis shoes and they barely got dirty.Jerry was our guide and he made the tour so enjoyable! He was so attentive to everything, made great conversation, and gave a great tour and recommendations. When he picked us up from our hotel in San Juan he gave a mini tour of San Juan while picking up the other parties which made the tour even more interesting.The food at the end was fantastic, my package didn’t include food but Jerry got our order at the beginning so it’d be ready by the time we finished. It was an additional $12 for an entree and full size drink. I got mamposteado with grilled chicken and Maduro, great portion size and super yummy.

Gave great tips on what to do, where and what to eat, and recommendations on other activities that our group might enjoy. He was punctual in picking us up and he made the ride engaging with different facts on significant locations we passed on the way to the activity. I would definitely recommend Tours 4 Less for similar excursion-type activities.

Our tour guides loves the island as much as I do as was passionate about telling us facts I didn’t even know. When hiking they made sure we all felt encouraged and cheered us on and were absolutely incredible throughout the entire trip. They really made the Yunque extra magical. Hands down best experience on my trip.

love yourself: The off the beaten path El Yunque tour with our guide Frankie far exceeded my groups expectations. Frankie was so knowledgeable about the area, the history, the ecosystem and preservation of the area and his story telling was so interesting and not boring at all. Frankie painted a pictue of what to expect so there would be no surprises and he did it with such details and imagery that it made you even more excited to get the tour started. During the tour Fankie, Luis and the lifeguard were so incredibly helpful especially with me because I was really nervous at some points. Frankie had so much patience, I was taking forever to jump off the cliff and he gave me a motivational speech and I was able to conquer my fears and jump. After all the adventure we were taken to a delicious restaurant for lunch.Overall, I have only positive things to say about thos tour and strongly encourage you to book with them, you won't regret it!

Kristen Barbieri: I had the pleasure and privilege of enjoying Jason and Elias’ company on my recent excursion the El Yunque. From the moment Jason spoke, he was passionate, gentle and kind. It is rare to find a tour guide who seems excited about their job - this is Jason! Elias was our driver and was equally as lovely and not to mention quite incredible at navigating the narrow roads seamlessly getting to and from the rainforest. Jason provided clear communication about the plan for the day and throughout the day. He ensured that everyone was enjoying themselves and having a good time. Elias was goofy, upbeat and fun throughout. Safety was their priority. We initially ascended a “muddy” hill and then walked through the rainforest to the waterfalls where there was a cliff jump and rope swing. You had the option to stay in that area or to continue onward up a rock scramble to go down the water slide. With the right footwear, these “hikes” were not too challenging and suitable for folks of most fitness levels. I would recommend wearing shoes that can get wet and clothes that also can get dirty. You are provided a helmet and life jacket which may be a bit overkill but to each their own. I cannot recommend this duo more highly and would love to return to PR to do more tours with them in the future.

Madelyn Jaquez: Jason and Luis made us feel very welcomed. The level of hospitality and attentiveness from our tour staff was beyond any other experience I had ever experienced. Jason took his time explaining every step of the way which gives you a sense of calmness and excitement to get to the rainforest. He made sure to keep the group laughing and enjoying the way to the rainforest. Once we made it there, he and Luis and Tarzan as they call him made sure to help when help was needed. Made sure to stop to rest and give us very educational and informative information about the rainforest. They made us feel like we were part of their community! I would do it again in a heartbeat! Gracias Jason, luisito and Tarzan for an adventure I will forever cherish!

I loved that they put our safety first by having extra staff to be in the water for slides and cliff jumps. We were given Life vests and helmets and we definitely needed them. They pick and drop off and we also stopped on the way there to a cute store where we used the bathroom and got smoothies and came back and ate at asador boricua which was delicious! I recommend this trip to anyone!

Estaba oscureciendo, así que fuimos a la estación de autobuses para regresar a nuestro condominio. El viaje en autobús hacia y desde el Viejo San Juan fue gratuito, pero no había horario para verlo, solo esperó 45 minutos en una parada de autobús.

Amy Dunlap: Nahiomy was an amazing tour guide. She was well versed in all the locations she showed us around Old San Juan. She allowed us to enjoy not only the main tourist points, but also some of the hidden local gems, such as the Puerto Riccan ice shop for a refreshing treat. She answered all of our questions and was happy to capture several pictures of us along the way. Even once the two hours were up, Nahiomy continued walking with us back toward our hotel, offering suggestions for places to go for dinner and nightlife. The next day after the tour she followed up with a list of the places that we had seen, as well as offered for us to reach out during the rest of our time in Puerto Rico if we had questions about things to do or places to visit. She was a fantastic tour guide and we appreciated our time with her.

Erain Gordon: couldn’t get enough! Afterwards, we had a 2 hour stop at Luquillo Beach. The beach was beautiful, the waters were calm, and the food was delicious. If you’re looking for a fun time, I would definitely recommend this tour and Luis and Josh!

We were picked up from our resort after receiving a text from Luis. He kept in contact! We stopped at a fantastic bakery for breakfast and headed to the Rainforest for the “ sliding rocks”. We felt so safe. They were great organizers and guides. They took great care of the children in our group and saw to it that all of us felt included in the adventures!
