Dinorah La Luz: The only truly community library around. The staff is very friendly, including the director. A must go place where children are welcomed. They have parking and open spaces.
Pablo Garcia Smith: A childhood dream of sharing a library with my son is fulfilled every time we visit. Small, familial, certainly a community center in many ways. We are very grateful for everything they do for the kids, students and seniors.
Karla Holguin: Great place to come and read a great book, do research, or even use the library's computer. They have it well organized and categorized. Clean and quiet. There is also an area to read outside if that's your thing. You can also purchase some of the books for nearly nothing. Great place to bring the kids since they have an ample children and young adults area.
Isabel Perez: Maravilloso.
Mileidy Z. Díaz Cabello: It was super nice! Connie made me feel very welcome. She was very patient in explaining me how the library and the membership works. A really good deal even without the student's fee. Very nice, clean, taken care of. Felt very peaceful. Also, they got cats! ❤ ❤ ❤
Carrie Newdall: This library is so important to the community it serves. I have been a regular visitor since 1990. I am always recommending it.

Faisal Kamal: . This is the only reason I didn’t give full stars. However, there are desktop computers with reliable internet which I use if the WiFi is down. From the entrance of the library, it does state that it is closed for lunch
D. Marie: I went to visit because I needed a quiet spot to work. Thankful they have WiFi! Tables and computer area available. You do have to sign in and leave your ID with security.
Myrna Biddle: Me encantó, los documentales excelentes 👌
Miguel Angel Rojas: Hermosa e historico lugar
Modesta Irizarry: Excelentemente bien.
Pablo Pantoja: It’s the premier historial and cultural archive for everything to do with Puerto Rico. It’s a beautiful building. The staff follows strict procedures and everything runs smoothly. It’s not a place you can visit in a hurry to get information or view documents. It’s geared towards academics doing academic work. Think of it like an academic monastery. That’s the vibe. The only downside is the limited hours. For example, during lunch hours, you have to leave and come back once the staff returns. It makes sense due to the care and security required for the place. It seems like they are also understaffed with no chance of changing that because it’s a government institution.I recommend the place, but not as a tourist attraction. Every so often they will have themed presentations based on Puerto Rico’s history. However, those are better suited for people who want to do a deep dive into history.

Julia Friedl: A friend recommended this library after we were disappointed by our local library in Manati. We made the drive and we’re so happy we did. The staff is very friendly and there is an awesome childrens area with lots of activities. The membership fees are are only $1 per year for children and $10 per year for adults. They had a great selection of books in English and Spanish, and there is even a section of FREE books in good condition to add to your home library!
