Maria Levis: Love this place. Wonderful if you are looking for a physically invigorating paractice. Amazing teachers and nice neighborhood vibe.
DSH: and one with Alan. All classes have descriptions on the webpage. Since I practice ashtanga, it was easy for me to follow. All classes were in English. There are two showers couples with toilets. It is quite warm in the studio. So you might consider some classes as hot yoga. They also have a cooler. After the class there are many good options and the beach nearby.
Danny Lim: Definitely one of the highlights every time I am in San Juan is attending yoga classes here. The studio is always spotlessly clean and everyone is always so nice and professional. I have never had a bad yoga session and a big part is due to the instructors who are amazing and very knowledgeable. A big shoutout to Alan and Thais whose classes I am missing profusely!
Cyrus Behroozi: Absolutely love this yoga studio! The clases place a large focus on the breath. The studio gets pretty hot so it’s almost like a hot yoga class which is great. I’ve also made many solid friendships at the studio.
Kerri Murphy: My partner and I wanted to do some yoga while on vacation in Carolina, PR. We booked a class online through the Vagaro app and showed up for class. This place is great, there is a nice sense of community and the instructor spoke in English as well as Spanish. They offered hands on assist, which is also a nice touch! I loved it so much I am going to beginner Ashtanga in the morning before flying out.

David and his school are internationally recognised and tour around the world educating others via teaching trainings. Whether you want to be a yoga teacher or just deepen your practise, Ashtanga Yoga Puerto Rico’s trainings are really world class.The school is definitely accessible to all as they teach in both Spanish and English. They also have free parking that everyone is welcome to use. From the guaranteed friendly welcome at the reception to the sweaty conversations at the end of a class, this is a community you want to be a part of.

Sri Ali: Wow, where to start?! I recently hosted a yoga retreat at Casa and the experience was beyond incredible. I discovered Casa in September of 2023 and everything about this place said I needed to have my retreat there. I contacted the owner the next day and we set time up to talk in the same week. Yancy answered all my questions and was so helpful in the pre-planning of the retreat. The next several months the team at Casa were so incredible in their communication and helpfulness as I addressed them with many questions and requests in prep for the retreat. As the time for the retreat finally came, everything from start to finish was PERFECT. So perfect I couldn't believe how smooth it was. From the delicious food, the beautifully colorful and warm rooms, the stunning views of nature around us, the fun guided nature adventures, the cacao ceremony and breath work/meditation sessions, my guests and I couldn't have been more satisfied. I truly feel like the team at Casa went above and beyond for us and found certain moments where the retreat could be enhanced and it worked out flawlessly. They found ways to connect my intention with the retreat into each activity their team led and it flowed so beautifully. I could go on and on but you get the point! I will absolutely be leading another retreat with Casa in the future!

The staff were so personable and you could tell they really cared about making sure you enjoyed your stay. All of the food was fresh and healthy but still very satisfying. The location couldn’t be any more perfect…minutes away from the el yunque rainforest and the beach so that was great for excursions! The ultimate relaxing and peaceful retreat. As if this wasn't enough, the retreat program was fun, engaging, and profound. Elizabeth Philpot: My group went to Casa Alternavida for an EO retreat. Yancy, the Owner, curated a beautiful week full of an activities and delicious food. We played in the waves, hiked and SUPed which gave us a good feel of the area and time to connect with our group. We went out to eat one evening and got a fun dining on a local farm. His team made us delicious meals at the CA residence which left me feeling fueled and satisfied. Chef Omar goes out of his way to connect us with local ingredients and you can feel the love that goes into his cuisine.All and all this was a unique and incredible experience that I would do again. Yancy will also customize the week based on the group’s needs. This is actually the second CA time visiting and I look forward to the next time already.
Angela Galper: My daughter and I and another mother/daughter duo spent 3days and 2 nights at Casa Alternavida. The only complaint- it was too short. The direct 3 and half hour flight from New York, 35 minutes drive from San Juan airport and easy to access location was a bonus. Danny opened the gates and we felt like long awaited, respected and loved guests coming to an impeccably clean and well designed family/ friends house with a parking place and small garden.I’m a hard to impress foodie but Chef Omar blew my mind off with organic, vegan, anti inflammatory, complex in flavor and texture, generous meals, often with second servings. Danny’s companionship, morning yoga classes and expertise in numerology were essential to our stay. Karla’s massage was a mind and body changing experience, the best I ever had, amazing hands and soul! Ramon introduced us to the local flora and fauna of the rainforest, fun muddy hike and tranquil picnic at the river. The last but not least the beautiful, welcoming, miles long beach!Thank you Yancy and the crew for unforgettable weekend, we will be back soon!

Irene Fuentes: I needed a solo trip that I didn't have to plan every second of my own trip. They have a schedule but you're not forced to participate in every activity, but their gentle encouragement was appreciated. I was unsure of what to expect but I am happy to say I have no regrets. Everyone there was so nice and made sure I felt comfortable.Habitaciones: The room was cozy and very clean. Not really large but I didn't go to stay in my room, therefore it met its purpose of being my personal space to rest, sleep, change clothes. The room I chose had a private bathroom which was semi outside, it was a cool experience to shower under the moonlight. The view of the jungle from my room was also pretty cool and gave me a sense of tranquility.Actividades cerca de mi ubicación: I like that the beach was only a couple minutes away.Comidas y bebidas: Food was different and delicious. The ingredients to make alltheir dishes were all healthy and gluten free. I was afraid I would end up hungry but I felt satisfied with every meal.

Ale: Friendly staff and convenient location. Small but has everything you need. I would not say this is a luxury gym. It has little to no extra amenities and the space is not kept to what most consider "luxury standards".

Joel Zea: Nice clean gym. You have to bring your own locks and towels. There are 3 shower stalls and a pretty large locker room. They offer various classes. It does get pretty warm and the air conditioner is not very effective but you’re there to sweat right? This gym is nicer than your average gym but if you’re used to high-end gyms, then it’s just good. It can be a little hard to find. It is located on the 5th floor. You enter through two large glass doors on the left of Starbucks and Denny’s. I was quoted $33 a day for a guest pass and $89 for the week. If you’re visiting.

a nexus: Siempre tuve una mala impresión de planet fitness, pero ahora que soy socio me han dado la vuelta. Los beneficios que obtiene de la membresía negra hacen que valga la pena por $ 25 por mes. El gimnasio en sí está bien ya que el área de pesas libres es demasiado pequeña para la cantidad de miembros, no hay suficiente espacio ni equipo, por lo que a menudo hay que esperar. Aunque las máquinas son realmente buenas.

Alejandro Campos: All the gym equipment you’ll need. Friendly staff. Cancellation policy is harsh but explained clearly when joining. Generally clean facilities and not smelly. Price is more than fair.However, all barbells are extremely rusty and have stained my clothes and I’m afraid I’ll need a tetanus shot if I’m not careful. I’m not sure if they clean them at all. If they do they need to switch the product they are using. If they fix this issue it essily is a 5/5 gym.

La gerencia debe estar más comprometida con los miembros en las horas pico para garantizar que un cliente no tome 3 máquinas al mismo tiempo reservándolas con toallas mientras el resto de los clientes esperan a que terminen.
