Edna Ocasio Medina: I simply love this military base. It is small on comparison with others. The best part of this part is the view of San Juan Bay and the overlooking to theCity old walls, the Sentry Boxes, and Catano in the opposite sise. When you enter the base, you feel protected, safe. Listening to the many birds singingand chirping; like an orchestra you see grass, buildings, and an old house. I love nature, therefore I really enjoy my visits speaking with its personnel who are friendly.US COAST GUARD: BASE SAN JUAN! It feels like a HOME to me.

Rey W Morro: . Local people stretch and run or jog around this area. And it us a great area to just walk and spend a day. If you are walking ensure to take a map in the front office. There are some steady hills that can be challenging to people not use to walking in the humid and sometimes hot weather. If you go prepared with some cold water, may be a hat, for sure you will enjoy the natural beauty of this place. It is very close to the UPR and to Rio Piedras, so it is not a remote place and is relatively close from the capital. It is also very close to a relatively new transportation system or train to connect to main cities.
Maria Jose Andrade: The botanical garden is a beatiful patch of forest and exotic plants. Is a great place to visit and kids will love it. It has several lakes and if you take your time and look for you will be able to see iguanas, some birds, tadpoles, and lizards, as well as the variety of trees and plants.
