The fresh and pleasant scent of the room was immediately noticeable upon entering. The suite was well-equipped with all necessary amenities and had a studio-like design, perfect for a relaxing stay. It was incredibly cozy, with a comfortable air conditioner that worked perfectly. The floors and overall decor were impressive, adding to the charm of the room.However, there was a minor inconvenience with the room. A small light on the fire alarm flashed intermittently, which could be slightly bothersome when trying to sleep. Despite this, it was a minor issue in an otherwise delightful room.The stay included breakfast, which, although not served piping hot, was warm and tasted good. The secure parking was another highlight, as I often worry about parking lots, but this one exceeded my expectations with its safety and convenience.One downside was the hotel's elevator situation. With only one working elevator and a maximum capacity of four people, there was often a wait time of five to ten minutes to get to and from the room. This was a bit frustrating but manageable.The rooftop restaurant was another point of interest. It boasted a beautiful setting and luxurious ambiance, making it very popular and requiring reservations. The menu was on the expensive side, with the cheapest dish priced between $30 to $40, so be prepared to spend a bit more. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to dine there due to the need for prior reservations, but it looked amazing.Despite these minor issues, my overall experience was fantastic. The nights were quiet, the bed was wonderfully soft, and I definitely plan to return. This suite offers a blend of comfort, cleanliness, and convenience that makes it a top choice for a relaxing getaway.

Brie W: First and foremost, the staff were amazing. Specifically, Paola and Edgardo. At the front desk. The room is basically an apartment. It was spacious and clean. The hotel is close to a beach and food and nightlife.Now for the truth. The breakfast that is included is ok. Not anything to brag about. They deliver it to you so its a nice breakfast in bed.The infinity pool is small and really only big enough to put your feet in. So if you are looking for more, I would look at other options.The staff at the rooftop bar were all wonderful. Special shout to Sunny and the GM Miguel.Will for sure come back.

Sam: was very helpful and amazing, and I believe its owned by her and her parter,, BIPOC businesses FTW, nome of that american corporations and gentrification,, and the room we shared was comfortable, with light sheets and towels provided for every bed. The man upstairs from us was arrested by the FBI in front of me, and it was really scary, but I dont blame the hostel people for that. Stay here, and leave a nice tip, these people deserve it.

Sherif Azmy: The hostel is located in a very nice neighborhood with a lot of food places and cafes around. There is a bar right across the street which has good drinks and vibes. The staff is absolutely amazing and extremely helpful and friendly, with a lot of good recommendations of things to do and places to go. It is a very social hostel, I travelled solo and I met so many great people and made amazing memories. The hostel also organizes outings every night almost to get you to explore the city and bond with the other people staying in the hostel. Great vibes all across the board

The rooms have their own bathroom, the staff are excellent, there is a very nice rooftop hangout area with hammocks and a great view, and it’s super social! I hadn’t even finished checking in when a group walked by and asked if I wanted to go to dinner with them and I made friends with every person staying there at the same time as me. They also organize activities and tours such as trips to el yunque and salsa dance lessons. Truly a great safe and fun way to experience San Juan.Actividades cerca de mi ubicación: Within walking distance of a beach and the food park, a short drive from many beaches, guided tours, and night life options such as old San Juan and district t mobile.Seguridad: Felt completely very safe walking around, because there is a bar on the street there are always lots of people around until late in the night so if you’re alone you don’t have to worry about walking alone. Additionally since it’s a very social hostel many people will be willing to go somewhere with you so you don’t have to go alone. The pool and outdoor space is very relaxing and the beach is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The public beach area by this hotel was very clean. MeganKalen Ladnier: Due to the unfortunate events happening with the airlines, we ended up stuck in San Juan for 3 extra days. Delta only provided us with one night stay at Double Tree. After arriving at the hotel, we were told Delta never contacted the hotel to verify rooms for myself and the 4 other people with me. The lack of communication and accommodation from Delta was so disappointing BUT Double Tree did not allow us to be stranded for 3 days with no room. Stephanie and Gadiel at the front desk went above and beyond for us and made sure the 5 of us had rooms for the entire 3 days we are stuck here, covered by Delta. We could not have asked for better customer service. The rooms are great, pool area is beautiful and clean, Pablo is an excellent bartender, everything is top tier. Highly recommend staying here!

Jazdiannet Shackford: Our absolute go-to when ever we are in San Juan. The hospitality, cleanliness, amenities, and location cannot be beat. Better Reality Coaching: Great hotel and great experience. Only a few minutes from the airport. The hotel is exit 2b and the airport is exit 8. It’s conveniently located to many amenities and the beach. I would be remiss if I didn’t say the walls are paper thin, I heard the microwave from the other one. Any issues I had, had nothing to do with the staff. So overall, I enjoyed everything about my hotel experience from my first encounter with Bryan to the last encounter with the staff at the restaurant. Everyone was very friendly, hospitable, and accommodating. Next time I am in PR, this will be my hotel of choice.

Monty Hall: ¡¡Esto está en una ubicación EXCELENTE en el Viejo San Juan!! Caminando a todo lo que esta zona tiene para ofrecer. El lugar es hermoso con entrada muy segura y entrada a la habitación... hablando de habitaciones, eso es lo que obtienes, una habitación. Era similar al dormitorio de una casa. Se puede oír a la gente en el pasillo y a otras personas en otras habitaciones al otro lado del pasillo. Esto podría deberse a que mi habitación está justo en la planta baja y en el pasillo principal junto a la entrada jajaja. No nos molestó porque somos noctámbulos y madrugadores, pero pude ver cómo podría molestar a algunos. Ciertas habitaciones como la que yo tenía NO serían para una familia, pero hay suites en el piso de arriba. Me encantaron las áreas comunes con una pequeña cocina, máquina expendedora, café y un cómodo ambiente tropical en el interior. Debo decir que la ubicación de este hotel compensa cualquier inconveniente de querer explorar el Viejo San Juan. El costo mínimo para llegar a Condado Beach, o a los clubes nocturnos La Placita y otros restaurantes en New San Juan costaba entre $ 6 y 7 por trayecto, cada vez, ¡y aproximadamente 13 minutos! Así que fui al "centro", a la ciudad alegre que suele ser por las noches y me relajé durante los días disfrutando de la belleza y la cultura del Viejo San Juan. There is a lovely sitting area that is super comfortable and pleasant. The hotel is clean and there is someone at reception 24 hours a day. Kevin Chin: Very friendly staff, great location and kept quite clean. The 16 person dorm was surprisingly easy to sleep in. Beds offer privacy, but lack charging outlets. Brought a power bank to remedy this. Plenty of other outlets throughout the hostel though. The rooftop was a great spot to get some fresh air and view of the city and the kitchen is well equipped.

Now on antibiotics for the week.Overall, I felt that my stay at the hostel was worth the $30 per day that I paid for the week. Here is a breakdown of my experience:ROOMMATES: I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and welcoming my roommates were. It made me feel at ease, especially since it was my first time sleeping in a room with 16 strangers. Room was really great a night and I found it to be pretty quiet besides people partying outside of the Hostel. However, I did find it a bit strange that there were cleaning volunteers bunking with us in the room. Ideally, I believe that volunteers should have their own separate accommodations to avoid any potential discomfort for the guests. Additionally, there was an older male cleaning volunteer who made some people uncomfortable by being overly interactive with younger girls. This behaviour definitely impacted the overall atmosphere of the space and I was hearing that this was making a few women feel uncomfortable unfortunately.AMENITIES: I was provided with a comfortable bed, complete with a blanket, pillow, and towel. Despite the open layout of the bunks, I felt that they offered a decent level of privacy. However, I did find the beds to be a bit small in length, as my feet would hang over the edge.One major inconvenience was the limited number of outlets in the room. With only three outlets shared between 16 people, it was challenging to charge devices, especially if you wanted to use them in bed. I would recommend bringing a portable charger to alleviate this issue.The bathroom situation was not ideal, as there was only one bathroom for all 16 people in the room. Although there was an additional bathroom down the hallway with two showers, two private toilets, and two sinks, it was inconvenient to have to carry all your belongings over there. In addition to this, the showers barley had hot water which sucked.The kitchen facilities were great, and I didn't have any issues apart from sharing the fridge. It was quite full, making it difficult to find space for my own items. Additionally, labeling your belongings was necessary to ensure they weren't mistakenly taken by others. Additionally, there was a leak in the kitchen ceiling, which was quite inconvenient.One major downside was the amount of mosquitoes in the hostel. There were significantly more mosquitoes inside than outside, and I ended up with over 10 mosquito bites.In terms of cleanliness, the hostel was generally well-maintained and pretty clean considering it was shared accommodations.SERVICE: Upon my arrival, I experienced difficulty in locating the Hostel and phoned the number available on the website for guidance. A gentleman answered and assured me that someone would be present at the entrance to welcome me. Unfortunately, no one arrived. I managed to enter the Hostel when a fellow guest exited to smoke. Inside, I noticed that there were no service workers available. After asking another person, eventually, the older guy, who was a volunteer cleaner provided me with a brief tour and the keys to the hostel and locker.One negative experience I had was when a fellow guest in the upper bunk left and threw his dirty towel on my bed. I found this to be extremely rude and unhygienic. Unfortunately, I had to guess which towel was mine, as I would have had to pay an additional $20 for a new one. It would have been appropriate if the hostel had changed my sheets and provided a new towel at no cost due to this inconvenience and it not being a mistake on my end.Another issue I encountered was with the key cards. They stopped working after a certain time, and since there weren't any on-site workers, it was possible to get trapped outside at late hours.AREA: The location of the hostel was amazing, as it was within walking distance to beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, and pharmacies. I felt extremely safe in the area.

David Njoroge: Alojarnos en el hotel Dreamcatcher fue nada menos que un sueño para mi esposa y para mí en nuestro viaje de aniversario en julio. La intencionalidad y el pensamiento al diseñar el hotel son impresionantes. El vecindario también se siente muy seguro como turista para hospedarse y tener libertad para explorar otro gran lugar en la isla. Para un hotel de 3 estrellas, este lugar te dejará boquiabierto. Jessi Medina: This location is amazing. The whole vibe of the Dreamcatcher is top tier. Beautiful rooms, awesome location within walking distance of the beach and plenty of spectacular dining options. The experiences we booked through the Dreamcatcher were also great. We booked a rainforest hike, a massage, and a snorkeling trip and each of them were perfect. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The chefs also make amazing breakfast options if you don't feel like heading into town and getting breakfast.

Our room had an outdoor shower that was so fun! There are about 3-5 different breakfast spots within 2 blocks that were so nice to be able to access. I felt safe the entire time I stayed here and would definitely stay here again!

Michael DiNunzio: The place is located in a gated community but this area is very clean and organized. The surrounding areas is safe like all PR. The beach is 1 min down the street the place gives you chairs and towels. The only issue we had was the AC wasn't working when we got there. They did fix with no problems things do happen. The young lady at night she is very nice and helpful with a great attitude.Parking is on the street so be ready to find a spot. Plenty of restaurants and things to do around this place.Get out of San juan and enjoy the views especially the caves.One thing they do their own trips to the rainforest and Giovanni is the best. He took us through the rivers and we got to do a concert in his vehicle that me and my wife will never forget. Thanks for that experience. The room was smaller than expected, but we didn't spend a lot of time there because we were enjoying the beach, historical sites, shopping, food, and drinks. Everything was very clean and secure. En Europa normalmente se consiguen puertas y ventanas de calidad que bloquean el sonido, pero esto no es Europa. Ventanas de un solo panel, huecos, básicamente tienes una calle al lado. Y esa es una calle muy transitada. Escuchas a la gente hablando, la música del auto, el chirrido de la suspensión, alguna persona gritando desde la mañana hasta el día, la construcción de al lado usando una pistola de clavos. Tampoco hay servicio de habitaciones.Posibilidad de caminar: Gran cantidad de cafeterías y restaurantes alrededor.

Visita el Supermax para disfrutar de una botella de vino y bocadillos. En este lugar estás solo para el servicio de habitaciones. Para adultos que buscan encanto y tranquilidad, este es el lugar. Jeff Ramsey: I looked at many Google reviews before our visit. I would like to say thanks for all your help. We met up with friends at Condado Vanderbilt to celebrate our birthdays. Let me say booking thru my AMEX Platinum card was a great deal. Breakfast buffet for two daily. Ends around 11 am daily. The value alone for the buffet for two was $100.00. Plus we were able to check in at Noon, if available. We couldn't as our room wasn't ready. Late check out at 4pm. Plust $125.00 resort credit to use for food or drink. We had a Commodore Ocean Front suite which was very nice. Two balconies. PLUS, we had our own butler. Enma, our butler was FANTASTIC!! He emailed me a few days before our trip letting us know he would be our butler and asked if we needed any help. I asked for him to help us arrange ground transportation to and from airport. NOTE, BAHIA Transportation was nice, etc. but was expensive. $110.00 to the Hotel which was about a 15 min ride. Our driver did not lift one finger to help me with my luggage, which we had two large suitcases and two carry ons. I pulled my back the day before so this wasn't good. I asked Enma after arriving to cancel our ride back and got an UBER Black to take us back at the cost of $24.00. Would recommend UBER Black for transportation. Anyway, back to hotel. The staff was so GREAT!! I mean best staff anywhere we have stayed. We have stayed at many fine hotels, Ritz, Intercontinental, Willard in DC,etc. They didn't have no in their vocabulary. When we celebrated my birthday on a Saturday, my wife reached out to Enma, our butler for help. He set up the room while we were at the pool with a bday cake, balloons, plates for charcuterie board my wife wanted to prepare, 8 champagne glasses, as well as a bottle of champagne on ice!!! I didn't see any charge either on my bill for all this. My wife wanted to tip him specifically for this occasion, so she found him and gave him a tip. Victor, working the entrance area of hotel was spectacular. Made sure to greet me by name every time we entered or left hotel. Paiulo, hostess in buffet was so great in making sure we got what we needed in the restaurant where the buffet was. Amid made spectacular omelets for us at the omelet station. Enma, our butler was very instrumental in checking in during our stay seeing how were were doing via text. Like having your own assistant. He was very helpful giving us ideas on restaurants of what we were looking for, then he would call and make our reservations for us and confirm back to me time, etc. Ropa Vieja was one of our favorites. Tayzan, Chinese, Sushi, and PR food was not great. I would not go back. Serafina, next door to CVH was awesome as well. Great walking distance to Marriott Stellaris Casino. LaConcha Casino didn't do it for us. Highly recommend the walk to Stellaris. Also, there is a market right across the street called H & R Food and Liquors that has a quite a bit of selection of liquor/beer, as well as food items and prepared food such as sandwiches prepackaged. We had a nice sub zero smaller fridge in our room as well as a nice ice maker. Nespresso type machine that uses the pods which were provided. Alto Grando was the pods of choice. The cigar lounge was quite small as I generally sat outside to smoke a cigar once in a while. Tacos and Tequila was good as well. They gave me and my wife both a margarita on the day of my birthday. The pool drinks were awesome. Condado Express was our favorite. Medalla Beer is awesome as well. Low carb with great taste. Airport Duty Free Store sells liquor, beer, and coffee on your way out so you can take home some treasures. Alto Grande coffee was our favorite. Again, CVH was spectacular stay. We want to go back again soon. Knowing what we know now, wouldn't change a thing. Was so relaxing and again, STAFF WAS SPECTACULAR!!!

Cary Martin: I cannot say anything negative about this hostel. The location is perfect right near the beach and restaurants. Staff is great and rooms are clean. There are no bugs. And it is super cheap Only thing I can think of is a larger fridge would be nice but we did make the fridge work for everyone with not much problems. I'm definitely coming back.

Travis Leach: This was my first time staying in a hostel. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The building was kept clean. The sheets were clean and they had towels available to rent. I didn't use the kitchen, but the rooftop space was nice to hangout on. I was surprised that I got the whole room to myself even though I booked one of the bunk bed rooms. I also liked that they had an iron available for free. The only improvement I could think of would be if they had washers/dryers for guests, but not necessary for a pleasant stay.

Fernando Reals: This was an absolutely wonderful hostel for our family to crash at while in Puerto Rico. We were looking for a budget friendly stay and this place was exactly that. We got a private room with two comfortable beds and a private bath but we also got to mix it up with fellow travelers in the common areas. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Had we known we would’ve liked this spot this much we would’ve booked more nights here instead of an Airbnb. The owners are also locals which is nice. Support local.

Jared Arvidson: Conturce Hostel was a great experience. The room was very clean and the staff was great. The rooftop is a good way to meet people at the hostel and I was able to meet some awesome people to travel the city with. The workers at Conturce, Dinelys, Edwin, and Jacqueline were incredibly kind, inviting and helpful. They were really cool and helped out with whatever guests needed while I was there. I’ve stayed in Casa Santurce, Villa Eshta, and Conturce Hostel and Conturce is by far the best option!Actividades cerca de mi ubicación: To visit Old San Juan, you can get on a bus stop right outside the hostel. The bus is free, safe and will take you directly to Old San Juan. I recommend using Google Maps to find out when the buses come and go.Posibilidad de caminar: The beach is a 5 minute walk and there is a grocery store two minutes away. There are many cool restaurants and bars close by too!

Midlands Max: It would have been nice if the linens had been changed once during 4 days. Location was GREAT! WiFi worked GREAT! A/C did not work one night out of 4, and made it impossible to sleep. Was fine the ENTIRE rest of the time; so necessary with the heat levels the whole time.Posibilidad de caminar: It is directly on a major bus route. Bus rides are free until Sept. It was soooo easy to get around to see everything, and the beach is 4 short blocks away.

Janalee Westerman: I had a nice time, the room was clean and the staff was easy to get a hold of. I did have a bunk mate, someone had said she worked at the hostel but I never verified. She was so noisy and was up at least 5 times each night. Normally people are easy going.Posibilidad de caminar: I was able to walk to old San Juan. It was roughly an 1hr 30 but the walk was next to the beach so it was enjoyable. There is a beach 40 feet away and it was beautiful.

Aaron Cookson: My stay started not very good in San Juan! Staying in a hostel was not what I wanted to do. But didn’t have a choice. This hostel was the first on the list. So I booked my stay. And boy did it become the best thing that happened.Yannyelis was there when I had questions and she answered them like a pro. She made my stay top notch. She deserves a raise and all the praise. Yannyelis was so awesomely perfect. I will remember this place for ever and now plan on making the hostel my place to stay.. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart.

Lisa Quach: Stayed in Room 1111 mid-July. The room had 2 double beds. Bathroom tub could use an upgrade but everything else was clean. The balcony was private and the oceanfront room had an amazing view. Housekeeping came everyday:For elite members, you can go next to the lobby to get water, soda, chips during the day from concierge. You can choose between points or breakfast coupon… the coupon is for the buffet at the restaurant next to the pool area. There is an omelet bar, fruits, meats & cheese, pastries, bacon, sausage, quinoa, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, and some other things… it’s not like an all-inclusive resort breakfast but it was not bad at all. Included mimosas. On Friday night, there was also a cocktail hour event for elite members in the lobby/bar. They provided small items as sliders and desserts. Parking for elite members is also reduced. The valet parking guys are soooo nice!They have a schedule of events such as movie night or s’mores…The staff was wonderful. They gave me a small bottle of wine in a gift bag when I mentioned it was my birthday.The casino bar is open until 3am and Angel is one of the best bartenders ever. Makes a really good Miami Vice too! They will give you $30 “match” coupon… go to service desk and they’ll give you what looks like Monopoly money and you can use with your cash to make a bet… gotta spend money to make money.Location: nearby restaurants… there’s a variety within walking distance… for late night, dulce la vida and the spot next door is open until 4am… there is also a Walgreens and 24hour store next the hotel so you can always buy what you need… including liquor. They stop selling liquor at 2am!There are people on the beach to set up chairs for you. You can order food and they’ll bring it to you. Card or Room charge only. There’s also a guy who sells these pineapple slush things inside a pineapple, it’s $20 with liquor and completely worth it!!!Would only stay here if I came back to PR.

Celebrando 30 años con mi Hermosa Reina, pasamos un tiempo fabuloso, el SVC fue excelente, el acceso a la playa fue increíble con protección de seguridad, lo cual fue bueno ver que tenían todas las comodidades que se publicaron... Solo 1 inconveniente Registro RETRASADO . Pero definitivamente volveremos a visitarlo.

Brandon Cleaver: Outstanding experience. The staff was completely awesome. There were a few minor things that came up. But was well overlooked. I wish I remembered everyone’s name who helped. My only complaint was eating outside for breakfast, was a bad experience especially for the price, but they have a bakery inside which I do recommend. They gave us an oceanfront upgrade. That was very much appreciated. Overall amazing experience. One thing that is undeniable was the housekeeping service was outstanding. Absolute kudos to the housekeeping team. The hotel felt very clean and safe!
