Jennifer L: We have purchased their climbing guide books and can tell you that it’s legit. I’ve read many different guide books and these here are top quality. Highly recommended. We also spoke with the staff who were super knowledgeable and so friendly. The store was really nice and had a wide variety of gear and selection. Go and support the people putting up and maintaining our routes!
Tyler Stern: This store has everything you need to sport climb and much of what you need to big wall. I can’t speak for caving and canyoneering, but they have gear for that as well. The owner was in and very knowledgeable. They are the reason climbing in Puerto Rico is possible, between their bolting efforts and beta. Please support them if you are climbing on the island! Their mini guides are much better than MP.

Aydrian: Great customer service. Very friendly and helpful. You can rent several different items here to go out on the water. I chose a paddleboard and went out into the lagoon alone. There are manatees in the lagoon and I was lucky enough to see a sea turtle. The renting is charged by the hour.

Bryan Katz: This is a unique and worthwhile way to spend a couple hours. No skills needed. You just need to be able to move your legs enough to pedal the boat, and it's not very hard at all. The views are unparalleled and unique. And the guide will take pics of you, so a camera is optional. I only wish the guides would have spent time talking about what we're seeing. Granted, it's hard on open water. But there was no discussion of the history at all. Regardless, it's well worth the time.

Robert: We saw El Morro from the inside on another trip, so seeing the fort and governor's house from the bay, being on the water, and getting some "steps" in without over-crowding or over-heating was a lot of fun. Our guide was very informative and took pictures for us.

Fue muy amable, conocedor, servicial y dispuesto a hacer un esfuerzo adicional para asegurarse de que tuviéramos una gran experiencia. Mi esposa estaba un poco indecisa sobre la caminata, pero con Jesús animándola y ayudándola, pudimos llegar no solo a las cataratas, sino también hasta la cima y detrás de las cataratas. Lo remató con un video que preparó y envió al final de nuestro día. Esta es una caminata para excursionistas serios. No es un paseo por la naturaleza. Si un sendero para peatones es un 1 y la escalada en paredes de roca es un 10, entonces fue un 6-7/10. Mucho más exigente que El Yunque. Manuel fue un verdadero jugador de equipo e hizo de este desafío un evento que no olvidaremos. Incluso Manuel aprendió algo; No existe un lugar llamado South Detroit. ¡¡Tú eres el verdadero Caballo, Manuel!!

Our instructor Halie gave us an excellent background on what to expect in the water and made us feel very comfortable before getting in. She was very patient with swimmers of all levels and made sure that everyone had a good time. I would definitely recommend going snorkeling with Halie.

The private session allowed her to help my three kids gain confidence in snorkeling independently while we got to explore nearby! She made us feel safe and comfortable in the water with her helpful tips. We didn't want it to end! Halie took memorable photos and even recommended 2 places to eat nearby. She was so sweet, she offered us her equipment to use if ever in the area during the remainder of our trip! If you are looking for your family to learn how to properly snorkel while having fun, I would recommend asking for Halie. We would totally do it it again!
Allison Huver: Our snorkeling session with Halie was wonderful! She taught us a lot about the marine ecosystem and how to respect and protect the wildlife before we went in. And then she guided us step-by-step through using the equipment and how to float correctly while snorkeling. We saw a baby turtle and tons of fish. We had a great time! Lauren Grimley: Halie was amazing! We did the family learn to snorkel with our 8 year old son who has ADHD and autism which comes with some sensory issues. She was so comfortable and knowledgeable about how best to help him learn and be comfortable with the equipment. She was fun and patient. The variety of fish we saw even with a young child was amazing! We are now hooked! I’d recommend to anyone and will be returning on future trips for sure!
Amanda Ashley: What an experience my co workers and I had with Halie in Puerto Rico. First off she communicates very well with you. Then she took the time to go over some important things to know. She was very detailed when it came to explaining what we needed to be careful for to keep us all safe. When getting in the water one of our friends was very nervous because she can’t swim but Halie was very patient and understanding with her. Made her experience worth it. Thank you Halie. Paola Torres: Learning how to snorkel with Halie was amazing. She was nice and made us feel safe about going into the water, but at the same time gave us the push we needed to accomplish what we were there for. I already recommended her to my friends and if I got the chance I would love to take another class. Believe me, you won’t regret it.
DJ Campbell: Halie took my older son diving and then we all went snorkelling together. She made sure everyone had a clear idea of what to do and what amazing stuff we were likely to see. We had an awesome time and didn't scare the turtles! She had the patience and instructor skills to give my younger son and water-shy wife the confidence to have a wonderful time! If you come to PR and you like water, you have to go see the Adventure Mermaid!

Holly H: Awesome experience with Adventure Mermaid! If you have any younger kids in the party this is THE way to go. With a much smaller group size and personal attention to ensure everyone is having a great time we felt comfortable with everyone exploring at their own skill level.
JENNIFER HOFSOMMER: had ever snorkeled, so it was important that she was able to explain things in a kid-friendly manner. She not only did that, but she provided photos to support her talk and all four of the kids felt confident getting out into the bay. Her equipment was top-notch.She provided high-quality masks and dry snorkels. Swimmers from other tour companies noticed what we had on and remarked at how their equipment was low-quality and that they wished they would have gone with Adventure Mermaid. While we were in the water, Halie took lots of pictures and videos to capture the moments. We saw fish, a sea horse, a lobster, and even a sea turtle that was feeding on the plants. It was incredible experience and one that we will remember for years to come! Thank you, Adventure Mermaid!!!

Edward Clemons: Captain Judith was amazing and her first mate was just as great! This is the best way to celebrate our 10 Year anniversary and we don't regret it all. The price was expensive but it was WORTH every penny! We felt like millionaires. The views were amazing. The food was delicious. The drinks were so tasty. This was the highlight of our trip to PR. From the relaxing music, to the seats at the front of the sailboat, and the onboard drinks and food, the entire experience was amazing. Dave Payne: Beautiful Fort Worth stopping at to see the Spanish construction.
Harrison Logan: El Morro was a fantastic visit. The informational boards around the fort did a great job of telling the history starting with the Spanish through the Spanish American war and into the current day. Because this is such an old site, it does not have the modern conveniences that buildings have today like elevators and normal size stairs and inclines, so be prepared for that. It also is all outside, so be prepared for hot and/or rainy weather. The sights from the fort are beautiful, giving a great vantage point to see the san juan harbor and old san juan. Totally worth a visit!
